Shadow Veil is a spell within the Arceuus spellbook that requires 47 Magic and completion of A Kingdom Divided quest to be cast.

While under the effects of Shadow Veil, players have a 15% chance to avoid being stunned and damaged while pickpocketing NPCs. This stacks multiplicatively with the dodgy necklace, where Shadow Veil will attempt to avoid the stun first for a total of 36.25% chance to not take damage from a failed pickpocket[1]. The effects of the spell remain active for a duration ( seconds), where is the player's Magic level at the time of casting. Players can only cast Shadow Veil once every 30 seconds. (Resulting in level 50 Magic providing 100% uptime via lasting the full 30 seconds to cast again. Higher Magic levels will reduce the need to cast as often.)
