A specimen tray is a pile found in the Digsite, which contains a collection of items found in the nearby excavation. It can be searched to obtain several items, most notably charcoal, which is used in The Dig Site quest. The player must have a specimen jar on them or a digsite workman will stop them from searching the tray.
