Stony basalt is an item that can be used to teleport to the Troll Stronghold entrance, below the climbing rocks shortcut. The stony basalt is consumed when it is used to teleport. It may only be used after completing Making Friends with My Arm.
To create stony basalt, players must use 1 basalt with 3 urt salt and 1 te salt.

With level 73 Agility and the completion of the Hard Fremennik Diary, the teleport destination is changed to be on the Stronghold roof, past the climbing rocks shortcut. This alternate destination works like all Agility shortcuts, you may boost to pass the check and you will fail the check if your Agility is drained.
This teleport can be incorporated into a portal within a Portal Chamber using 100 times the required resources (300 urt salt, 100 te salt, and 100 basalt), or in a Portal Nexus using 1,000 times the required resources (3000 urt salt, 1000 te salt, and 1000 basalt).

- If you attempt to use the item while you are standing on the teleport destination in the Troll Stronghold, the teleport will fail and you will receive the message "You are already here. You don't want to burn to ashes then reconstitute, just to travel to the same place do you?".
