A summer pie is food made by adding a strawberry, a watermelon, and a cooking apple, in that order, to a pie shell, then cooking the raw summer pie on a range or using the Bake Pie lunar spell which avoids burn chance. All steps require 95 Cooking and baking the pie yields 260 Cooking experience.

Summer pie heals 22 Hitpoints in total, 2 bites each healing 11, and grants a temporary skill boost to Agility by 5 levels and restore 10% energy. After eating it, a pie dish will remain.

Uses[edit | edit source]

Sharks can be eaten 1 per 1.8 seconds while summer pies can be eaten 1 bite per 0.6 seconds, meaning that continuously eating summer pies can restore 33 Hitpoints for every 20 Hitpoints restored in the same time with sharks.

The +5 Agility boost along with its high healing make summer pies great food for Agility training, accessing Agility courses before having the required Agility level, restoring lowered Agility levels, completing quests that have an Agility requirement or where higher Agility helps pass obstacles, and for using Agility shortcuts. Not all requirements can be boosted, such as Dragon Slayer II, the Ape Atoll Agility Course or Saradomin's Encampment in the God Wars Dungeon. If using summer pies, it may be helpful to unlock the Preserve Prayer, with a torn prayer scroll and 55 Prayer, to extend the duration of the boost.

Summer pies are popular for fighting the Chaos Elemental or Chaos Fanatic because they heal large amounts, and leave an item behind when eaten. An empty pie dish prevents them from un-equipping Worn Equipment due to a full inventory.
