before you finish the quest, bring an iron bar, 2 oak planks, 5 nails, and a hammer to create a bank close to the shore
Slimansays (talk) 10:45, September 7, 2017 (UTC)
Why remove the items to create a bank. So many people forget. It's on a lot of other quest guides why can't it be on this one too. 87.55.62.123 14:55, September 7, 2017 (UTC)
I'm not against it, maybe make a section for post-quest underneath? --— Kelsey (talk) 15:02, September 7, 2017 (UTC)
It should list the items needed for the bank chest for sure. 67.1.99.92 15:59, September 7, 2017 (UTC)
The quest map image is helpful, but is currently incorrect, as it doesn't mention that you need to return to the barge before speaking with the Odd Old Man and Apothecary. i.e. the map should show "6/8/11" for the barge, with Odd Old Man as "9" and Apothecary as "10". Loosy

boat control directions described in article dont make sense[edit source]
73.35.145.128 05:52, 23 June 2021 (UTC) Clicking the turning controls multiple times does nothing. You cannot over-correct, and going slower will actually cause the wind to be harder to counter-act. The way the boat works is not at all what is described in the article, instead it is like this.
The oar only has three positions, you can see it at the bottom of the image on the left. When you click left or right, the oar will shift one position in the direction you indicate. Clicking multiple times will do absolutely nothing once the oar is at one of the left or right pointing directions. You want the oar to point in the opposite direction of the arrow to correct the navigation of the boat to move in the opposite of the wind. when the arrow is straight, move the oar to be centered. Just leave the boat's speed maxed the entire time and use the oar to control which way the boat is going to counter the wind. Just click once or twice to either move the oar to the center it is going or to the opposite direction respectively.
