Will calculators be added?[edit source]
Will calculators be added to work out xp/gp for various skills? This would be a great feature, and easier once the official Grand Exchange price database website is added.
- It's hard to do it with no database though. Mage Hybrid talk 21:56, July 9, 2015 (UTC)
- Can it be done now the database has been added, like for the RS3 wiki ? Hi Im James (talk) 11:24, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
Quest calculator[edit source]
Can we add a calculator that loads your skill levels, and lets you know which quests you have fulfilled the skill requirements for?
Does the calculators use JavaScript?[edit source]
I've read the code of some calculators that claim to use JavaScript, but are instead written in Lua. Does all Lua modules internally use JavaScript, even though Lua is written in C? Thanks in advance.

- The front facing forms use JavaScript and pass it to templates that call LUA modules. So they do use it but they aren't entirely written in JS. - Jakesterwars (talk) 23:20, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
Mahogany Homes Calculator[edit source]
I think there should be a calculator for Mahogany Homes. Perhaps something that shows you how many instances of it you must do to complete it, along with an aproximate of how much materials would you need to reach your goal.
EDIT: Nevermind, just found out there was one on the construction page!

SGM + Glassblowing calc[edit source]
I'm nearing the end of my 99 crafting grind and one thing I felt I wanted during this was a calculator that incorporates the xp from casting SGM as well as the glass produced by the spell. For example: Say I had 98 crafting, 10k seaweed, and 60k sand... How many casts of SGM would I need to perform to have enough glass to hit 99 crafting? I know the quantity of glass produced is variable so this would never be exact, but it'd be nice to know the average, minimum, and maximum number of casts required so I could guarantee I had enough seaweed and sand to do the grind in a sitting. Opportunity cost[edit source]
It would be useful to ad an opportunity cost to the calculators. A good example would be the cost of prayer training, where one could better chose the bones to uses taking in consideration the GP they could earn from other activities. In this example you could add an input field for gp/hr from money making, and use this to add the cost of bones (from GE) to the time cost (# needed / actions per hour * gp/hr from money making), to get the total cost.
For this to work, the number of actions per hour is needed. For things like cooking, prayer or firemaking this should be trivial (like the input on the money making guides), for others it could be harder (like tree-runs for farming).
