Elknocks Shop??[edit source]

"They can also be generated with a jar generator (33 jars from a generator, one at a time) or purchased from Elnock's shop for one coin each (ten in stock). Elnock will store one butterfly net, one imp repellent, and a maximum of 127 impling jars."

I'm having trouble finding this shop. I thought he only traded implings for jars at Elknock's Exchange?

Thanks in advance. --Natalie (talk) 20:03, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

Outdated Graphic Displayed on Page[edit source]

File:Impling scroll view.png is extremely outdated and should be considered for removal from the article. Not only are Lucky Implings (introduced 2016) missing from the graphic stating, "All Implings..." but the graphic also lacks Crystal Implings introduced in summer 2019. Broken lucky impling script[edit source]

The error message is this at expected value:

Should be fixed now. The update today changed names of items relating to the dragonhide pieces from Treasure Trails and regular crafting so it was erroring finding wrong names. Jakesterwars (talk) 16:27, 9 April 2020 (UTC)

Incorrect spawning description[edit source]

Implings found in Puro-Puro and Gielinor use a unique system for spawning, when caught implings respawn immediately always on their spawn tile. This spawn tile never changes. After spawning, they are invisible for roughly 2 minutes during which they are able to traverse and roam considerable distances. Once implings become visible, a high-pitched "beckon whistle" sound plays with a subtle rattling.

First of all, there are four different "tiers" of implings. The low tier implings (at least baby and young implings, don't recall exactly which anymore) in Gielinor respawn immediately on their spawn tile, that's correct. Other tiers respawn with a delay. A small variation exists where an impling may also spawn invisible on a tile next to the spawn tile, both in Gielinor and Puro-Puro. The fourth tier of implings is the invisible NPC of crystal implings, which have a respawn timer of ~15–20 minutes (don't recall exactly), before spawning as an invisible impling for few minutes. I believe there are four or five spawn tiles at Prifddinas, one around each corner of the city, picked at random on spawn. It is possible to know the tier of an invisible impling, but not which impling it will be before a visible impling is spawned at the location of the invisible impling (except if it's a crystal impling, of course). Puro-Puro's static impling spawns have a respawn timer of few seconds (eclectic implings), but they are spawned as a visible impling immediately. In Puro-Puro, some implings ("dynamic spawns"), when caught, will change into invisible implings (of a tier) and add an impling jar to the player's inventory as a reward. For clarification, if the "dynamic" impling was on the move when caught by the player, the visible impling NPC may get replaced with an invisible impling NPC, which will then continue on its movement path. 84.250.17.211 23:05, 22 October 2020 (UTC); edited 23:08, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

  • Also, the spawned static spawn implings at Puro-Puro do not beckon whistle. 84.250.17.211 23:09, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
  • The time can also greatly vary, from ~15 seconds to 4 minutes (if I recall correctly). 2 minutes is average. Much of what I researched was last year during Twisted League. 84.250.17.211 23:10, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
  • For clarification, if the "dynamic" impling was on the move when caught by the player, the visible impling NPC may get replaced with an invisible impling NPC, which will then continue on its movement path. – I forgot to mention this is what makes Puro-Puro so special and different from the rest of Gielinor, because medium and high tier implings on Gielinor will spawn somewhere at some tiles in the world. They don't continue to roam as invisible implings after being caught, unlike in Puro-Puro. During Twisted League I could only verify the high tier impling spawn location somewhere near Mount Karuulm, and the mechanics were not as clear as with crystal implings due to wider world area for spawn tile locations and long respawn times. Low tier implings' spawn tiles are much easier to verify everywhere in Gielinor, due to instant respawn times. 84.250.17.211 23:18, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
    • For example, one low tier impling spawn is few tiles south of Draynor Village's bank. There's a mid tier impling spawn near crafting guild, but I've not located the tile due to respawn times (and/or unknown mechanics, if there is randomness which spawn tile is used for mid & high tier implings, like there is with crystal implings). 84.250.17.211 23:22, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
