Seeds/Jewellery/Empty ratio[edit source]

The profit per hour greatly depends on this ratio, as seeds nests are the most valuable by far.

There are conflicting reports on what the Seeds/Jewellery/Empty ratio actually is. Autumn Elegy reported a 75/15/10 ratio on Aug 19, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKyIf9RgUWw; later DVS reported a 90/5/5 ratio on Aug 2, 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWQK0rbNpms. Assuming DVS's reported ratio, at current price that would equate to 7m profit per hr. Far too high. Later, Storgie reported a 60/25/15 ratio on Oct 28, 2016 https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/59rymf/trading_in_602k_mole_skinsclaws/ . I have used Storgie's ratio for the calc as it gives the least profit/hr and is a fairly large sample (60k datapoints).

I suspect the jmods have fiddled with this ratio over time.

Also, the page currently assumes Mole claws and Mole skins have identical rewards. I don't have confirmation of this.

Ratio of seed:ring:empty is rolled when handing in parts and this ratio is applied to the entire sample rather than each singular mole part having a percentage chance to roll seed/ring/empty. Ratios appear to adjust by 5% each way (i.e. 75% seed, 80%, 85%, etc) so would recommend trading in batches of 20 to collect more data on the various ratio distributions. Theory; different ratios may have different frequencies. -OneFalseStep 2.29.229.14 02:29, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
