PvP HCIM Hiscore/Leaderboard[edit source]
Hey guys, I recently had this idea of making a hiscore to track various youtubers' PvP HCIM series (I think it should be restricted to youtubers due to the fact that there isn't an official game mode for this). I envision a basic leaderboard table with the following columns: Username (link to official hiscore page), Total Level, Total XP, Bounty/Date Updated, Notes (Include YT channel, latest bounty source). This would serve a few purposes: 1) give exposure to newer/upcoming youtubers giving PvP HCIM a shot, 2) A list of current popular PvP HCIMs and their bounties, for PvP world hunters, 3) A general comparison of various youtubers' PvP HCIM progress. There could be a checkbox to show deaths/older hcim to also serve as an 'all-time' leaderboard, hidden by default to prevent spoilers (assuming the wiki could in fact use the hiscore API rather than hardcode values).
I initially thought of making this as an external page, on a github.io site or something - there is an npm package for the osrs API that seems really easy to work with. But the thing is, I really don't have the time to keep up with all HCIM series and keep such a page fully updated myself (adding new names, new bounties) - I'd gladly update it for the few series I watch but wouldn't go looking for more. Also, many RS players are afraid of using external sites, very understandably. So I thought of the wiki, it seems like it would be the perfect place to host something like this. However, I'm not sure about the technical limitations of the wiki - if it can directly use the hiscore api, or if enough users would be willing to contribute - or if this is something that's too 'unofficial' to be put into the wiki. I don't know much about 'complex' wiki editing myself, last time I tried adding actual functionality I wasn't having a good time, so I really have no input on the actual wiki implementation. But I would easily know how to make this on its own site.

[Suggestion] Make an Unannounced Phenomena page for OSRS as well[edit source]
Why won't I make it myself? because my english is terrible and i'm unexperienced with wikis Basically we've had quite a few of these, I can remember a few for Darkmeyer, Zeah, the catacombs, and even yesterday for AKD
So yes I just wanted to suggest that we pile up these events on a page, since they're quite interesting in my opinion. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 126.96.36.199 (talk) on 07:15, 20 May 2021 (UTC).
- Pretty good idea. I'll see if anyone is interested. Fjaratalk 07:17, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Mini game teleport gone replaced by character summary tab[edit source]
Apologies if this is in the wrong discussion group.
Was playing this morning and my interface was normal. Have just logged in and the mini game teleport tab has been replaced by a, useless, character summary tab.
I want my mini game tab back.
just made a wiki account cant wait to help out this amazing wiki
im a f2p player what (and dont just link money making guides) is the fastest f2p money maker?
- there is little anyone can offer except link money making guides. You gave zero info except f2p. Are you 99 smithing? making and alching rune items is probably the best you'll get. Alching can be ~400k/hr if you, but you need a lot of initial money and 55 magic. everything except alching is on f2p mmgs so unless you want to alch, there is little to offer except say to look at those mmgs already made Fjaratalk 17:30, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- Speaking from personal experience, the One Small Wiki Favour was by far the fastest money I've ever made on a f2p account, and on top of the GP, you also get to learn some of the basics of wiki editing, and a better understanding of what goes on behind the scenes. From your topic above, you seemed to be pretty eager to start helping out, and the OSWF is tailored for just that. While there aren't active tasks for the OSWF currently, you can check back in every few days, and soon enough there should be some things for you to do. テティス T C 18:01, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
