Tarddiad (pronounced tar-THEE-add) is the original homeworld of the elves. Long before the First Age on Gielinor it was discovered by the goddess Seren. She was enamoured by the elves and stayed with them, teaching them the art of crystal singing.[1] Seren also granted the elves longevity, but at the cost of bonding the elves to her.[2][3] To break this bond, Seren convinced the elves to come to Gielinor, after having been told of its power by Guthix.[4] Most elves of eight of the nine elven clans came with her. The Cywir Clan decided to stay behind.[5] It is unknown, if they survived being separated from Seren for so long.

Players currently cannot visit the planet.

They called it the song of creation, for it was the creation of a new life for them. At least, so we thought...'"

The curse made it impossible for me to go without them, so they had to come with me, and leave their home behind. It was hard on them, but in the end, I managed to convince them...'"
