Tarquin Marjoribanks is a man found south of Varrock behind the Champions' Guild, who teaches players about canoeing. He is part of the Varrock Royal Family, and is related to King Roald. Although he is actually Roald's fourth cousin once removed on his mother's side, he believes that he is closely related to the king.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Tarquin states that his last name is pronounced "Marchbanks".
  • Tarquin's last name is a reference to the 1960 film Carry On Cruising where Kenneth Williams's character Leonard Marjoribanks is referred to as "Marjoribanks" and replies "it's pronounced Marchbanks, sir".
