|Teleport crystal (1)|
|Released||19 July 2005 (Update)|
|Examine||An enchanted teleportation crystal.|
A teleport crystal is a small crystal which can teleport a player to the elven village of Lletya (or Prifddinas upon completion of the Song of the Elves quest). Both teleports are reasonably close to a bank, the Lletya teleport is close to a fruit tree patch and an altar.
The crystal has four teleport charges when initially received and, when used up, becomes a crystal teleport seed. It can then be recharged by Eluned for 150 - 750 coins; however she will only do this if it is out of charges and claims that she can only grant three charges due to her not being as skilled as the original enchanter. However, after the completion of the Hard Western Provinces Diary, she will enchant crystals to 5 charges. Players may possess multiple teleport crystals at the same time. After the completion of the Song of the Elves quest, crystals can be charged by Eluned in Prifddinas or by Elven scout at Eluned's former locations.
Crystal teleport seeds can be obtained as a common drop from Elf warriors and Elf guards. Note that these are only dropped by the elves found in Lletya and Prifddinas, the elves in the Iorwerth Camp will not drop it. Players are also required to at least have started Mourning's End Part I, though 50 Thieving is not required to obtain it. Elf warriors may drop it with one charge or no charges at all.
Players can craft an Eternal teleport crystal to allow unlimited teleports.
