This template exactly like Template:CitePoll, with two exceptions. First, it is not a reference template in the sense that it does not create footnote-styled references. Instead, it creates the same text that would as a non-reference. This is desirable if a certain poll is the source of the majority of an article, as having the same reference at the end of every sentence. Second, it does not have the "name" parameter, as this only applies to footnote-style references.
The full URL of the poll, including
Name of the poll being cited.
Number of the question being cited. Do not use names. If the poll only has a single question, use
question=no - this removes a maintenance category.
Date the poll was opened.
The following parameters are standard across all citation templates.
Optional. This parameter allows you to add text beginning one space after the end of the citation. Having no formatting (meaning you will have to format it yourself), this area can be used for anything you require.
