The Thing under the bed is a creature that can be found under the Wise Old Man's bed in Draynor Village. In members worlds, players can help the Wise Old Man do small tasks, one of which is to fight the Thing under the bed.

Luckily, the monster is very weak, and players should have little trouble disposing of it. If the player succeeds, they will be rewarded with Hitpoints experience (random amount between 280 and 300 XP inclusive.). Even if not assigned the task, players may still kick the bed, but nothing will happen. The Wise Old Man mentions that he thinks the Thing under the bed was scared into his house by the Humans Against Monsters group.

• The "thing" is confirmed to have originally been a goblin.
