The tome of experience is received from Veliaf Hurtz on completion of the Darkness of Hallowvale quest. Reading it opens a window to select the skill a player wishes to advance. The player must be at least level 30 in their chosen skill.
It has three chapters which provide 2000 experience each. After confirming, the player receives the message "You read a fascinating chapter and earn experience! You have been awarded 2,000 (skill) experience!" After the third reading, the book disappears and the player receives the message "The book crumbles into a dust cloud of knowledge."
This item cannot be banked.
If lost or destroyed, the tome can be reclaimed after completing A Taste of Hope from the chest in the Myreque Hideout under Burgh de Rott.
