Training[edit | edit source]
Cooking gauntlets may be obtained by unlocking the Kandarin and Fremennik areas, due to the Fremennik area auto-unlocking Family Crest and Caleb being located in Catherby. The only raw foods available in Trailblazer League which are affected by the cooking gauntlets are raw sharks, raw monkfish, raw swordfish, and raw lobster. Raw karambwan burn rates are unchanged. Refer to the burn rate article for more information.
Jug of wine will be difficult to create without also unlocking the Humidify spell in the Fremennik area. Without Humidify players would have to manually create jugs of water or obtain them as drops from the Abyssal Sire, since shops only sell empty jug packs and do not sell jug of water packs.
The following table contains common locations to train the Cooking skill:
|Region||Location||Distance to bank||Notes|
|Misthalin✓||Lumbridge Castle range||22||Offers the reduced burn rates of a range and a further reduction in burn rates for certain foods, notably for raw shrimp, raw anchovies, raw trout, raw salmon, raw tuna, and raw karambwan.|
|Karamja✓||Mor Ul Rek Inner City sulphur vent||0||Requires a fire cape. A sulphur vent is adjacent to the inner city's bank chest.|
|Asgarnia✓||Rogues' Den fire||0||A fire is adjacent to the banker Emerald Benedict. Players should note that burn rates are higher on fires than stoves.|
|Myths' Guild range||0||Requires both areas unlocked. A stove is adjacent to the bank chest, making it better than the Rogues' Den fire or Mor Ul Rek's sulphur vent because stoves offer reduced burn rates.|
Other equipment[edit | edit source]
|Cooking gauntlets||Kandarin✓AND Fremennik✓||Reduces burn rates for raw shark, raw monkfish, raw swordfish, and raw lobster.|
|Humidify||Fremennik✓||Jugs of water can be obtained in Misthalin by manually filling empty jugs or slaying the Abyssal Sire, however they are time consuming to obtain without the Humidify spell. These are used with grapes to create jugs of wine, as a popular Cooking training method.|
