Overview[edit | edit source]
- Endless harvest greatly increases the speed at which players can obtain gold ore, silver ore, and uncut gems from gem rocks.
- Production master allows players to craft an inventory of most items instantly.
- Skilling prodigy allows players to craft items earlier and more efficiently due to its visible level boost.
Training[edit | edit source]
Common materials used to train crafting are molten glass, gems, tanned hides, flax, and battlestaves. Most of these items have region restrictions which will limit a player's ability to train with them during Trailblazer League.
Glassblowing[edit | edit source]
Molten glass can be made by using a bucket of sand and soda ash or giant seaweed in a furnace. Molten glass can be crafted using a glassblowing pipe. All of these items are obtainable in the starting region of Trailblazer League, particularly by accessing available charter shops.
|Bucket of sand||Misthalin✓||May be purchased from charter shops. The only sand pit available in the starting area is in Zanaris. The fastest way to obtain buckets of sand is to mine sandstone in the Quarry of the Desert Region and grind it with Sandstorm. Noted empty buckets can be given to Drew at the grinder. Convenient sand pits are located on Entrana, Yanille and Prifddinas.|
|Giant seaweed||Misthalin✓||Requires level 23 Farming, farming patch located underwater on Fossil island. Seaweed spores can be obtained by utilising underwater content on Fossil island.|
|Superglass make||Fremennik✓||Requires level 77 Magic. A player must be on the Lunar spellbook to cast this spell, each cast requires 10 6 2 and processes an entire inventory of material. Buckets are destroyed and bonus molten glass is created.|
Jewellery[edit | edit source]
Gems can be mined from the gem rocks in Shilo Village in Karamja with level 40 Mining or in the Lunar Isle mine, see the Mining guide for more details. Wearing a charged amulet of glory greatly increases the probability of successfully mining the gem rock. Gold ore and silver ore can be obtained commonly from many sources. Unfortunately the moulds necessary to process these items are more difficult to come by, and requires either level 44 Construction to build a tool store 4 in a player-owned house or unlocking the Desert or Asgarnia areas for access to a crafting shop. Ring, bracelet, and necklace moulds are also sold on Ape Atoll at Hamab's Crafting Emporium.
Leather[edit | edit source]
Although cow hide and dragonhide are easily obtained in the starting area, tanneries are not available without unlocking additional areas, which renders those materials temporarily useless. If a player chooses to unlock the Wilderness, Tirannwn, and Fremennik areas then they will be unable to use these materials until they complete the Fremennik Hard Diary and obtain level 78 Magic.
|Desert✓||Ellis||Located in Al Kharid, near the bank.|
|Kandarin✓||Leatherworker||Located in the Ranging guild, requires level 40 Ranged to enter. No right-click option is available, so players must manually speak to and navigate through the NPC's chat to access the tannery interface.|
|Morytania✓||Sbott||Located in Canifis, near the bank. Charges twice as much as other tanners (+45 gp/item max).|
|Asgarnia✓||Crafting Guild||Requires level 40 Crafting and a brown apron to enter the guild. The tanner is located on 1st floor[UK]2nd floor[US].|
|Fremennik✓||Tan leather||Requires the Fremennik Hard Diary and level 78 Magic. A player must be on the Lunar spellbook to cast this spell, each cast requires 5 2 1 and tans up to 5 hides.|
Flax[edit | edit source]
Flax can be spun into bowstring at a spinning wheel for 15 Crafting experience each, however the only way to obtain flax in the starting area is by catching baby implings (1/100) or through the bee keeper random event.
|Dom Onion's Reward Shop||N/A||Unobtainable. The Nightmare Zone's Ironman mode account restrictions apply, thus purchasing flax will not be plausible during the Trailblazer League.|
|Zulrah||Tirannwn✓||Frequently drops flax in increments of 1,000, for up to 2,000 per kill.|
|Seers' Village spinning wheel||Kandarin✓||Allows players to spin flax 33% faster with completion of the Kandarin medium diary.|
|Spin Flax||Fremennik✓||Requires level 76 Magic. A player must be on the Lunar spellbook to cast this spell, each cast requires 5 1 2 and processes five flax into bowstring per cast, yielding up to 75 Crafting experience.|
|Managing Miscellania||Fremennik✓||Produces a maximum of 1,250 flax per day.|
|Manually picking flax||Various|| Asgarnia✓ Kandarin✓|
Battlestaves[edit | edit source]
A battlestaff may be created and then alched by attaching an elemental orb to a normal battlestaff. Elemental orbs are difficult to obtain due to area restrictions. The only way to craft battlestaves without either the Wilderness or Asgarnia areas unlocked will be to obtain earth orbs from the Abyssal Sire or to obtain water orbs in Kandarin from waterfiends.
|Air obelisk||Wilderness✓||137.5 Crafting experience per orb attachment. Unobtainable outside of Wilderness.|
|Fire obelisk||Asgarnia✓||125 Crafting experience per orb attachment. Also dropped by lava dragons or Cerberus.|
|Earth obelisk||Wilderness✓||112.5 Crafting experience per orb attachment. Also dropped by the Abyssal sire.|
|Water obelisk||Asgarnia✓ Kandarin✓||100 Crafting experience per orb attachment. Requires both regions unlocked. Also dropped by waterfiends.|

jewellery[edit | edit source]
Gems can be cut with a chisel starting at level 1 with uncut opals. Gold bars or silver bars can be combined with gems and a jewellery mould in a furnace to create rings, necklaces, bracelets, or amulets.
Other Training Methods[edit | edit source]
Crafting birdhouses provides a low amount of Crafting experience.
Creating crystal equipment using a Singing bowl in Tirannwn✓ is an expensive way to gain a large amount of experience. The boosted drop rates for crystal armour seed and crystal weapon seed from The Gauntlet can be very useful.
Repairing barricades within Pest Control in Asgarnia✓ grants a low amount of Crafting experience, as well as a moderate amount of activity points within the mini-game, making it a minor auxiliary method for busy Pest Control games.
Players with the Equilibrium relic and the Morytania area unlocked may choose to train crafting by reinforcing the walls in the Shades of Mort'ton mini-game. This method of training requires little attention and grants anywhere from 200,000 to 600,000 Crafting experience per hour. The unofficial world for this method of training is World 402. Players can also choose to buy limestone in the Razmire General Store, convert them into limestone bricks using a chisel, sell these bricks back to the store and repeat the process. This method is far more click-intensive and slightly expensive, but grants far more Crafting experience per hour.
