    • General Bentnoze: Pretty is puny. Goblins need power!

    • Player: One of the highlights of Christmas is the Christmas tree. Typically we take a large tree - like a pine - into our house and decorate it nicely.
    • General Wartface: Tree? Goblins not like trees.
    • General Bentnoze: They stinky and green.
    • Player: Well if you don't like trees, perhaps we could decorate something else. Is there something around here you think would make a good centrepiece?
    • General Wartface: As long as it not tree, General Wartface happy.
    • General Bentnoze: Above village goblins have sacred boulder. Goblins go there sometimes to look at boulder.
    • General Wartface: Oh yes, sacred boulder! Big High War God place it there. It look like goblin so it symbol of goblin world domination!
    • Player: While I highly doubt that, I will go take a look at this boulder.

    • Player: An important part of Christmas - some would actually say it's the most important part - is gifts.
    • General Wartface: General Wartface loves gifts!
    • General Bentnoze: General Bentnoze too. And taking gifts from others. That good too.
    • Player: Well, around Christmas we tend to focus more on giving rather than receiving. We call it the gift of giving.
    • General Wartface: Give? No. No give. Only get.
    • General Bentnoze: Yes, only get. And take. It the goblin way.
    • Player: OK let's see. What if, to start with, you give yourselves a present? General Wartface will give one to himself, and General Bentnoze, you give one to yourself.

Picking up a sled[edit | edit source]

Sledding over ice[edit | edit source]

  • The ice greatly increases your speed.
  • The player's movement speed increases to a running speed for the next 10 game ticks, and the player restores 20 run energy on the first game tick on the ice. Any open interfaces are closed.

Sledding over rocks[edit | edit source]

Aftering landing the sweet jump[edit | edit source]

  • The player's sled is unequipped. If the player had no inventory space for a sled, it is silently destroyed in the process.

  • Player: So this is their sacred boulder. It kind of looks like a potato.
  • Player: I wonder if there's a way I can roll it into the village.

Picking up the stick[edit | edit source]

  • If the player already has a stick:
    • You already have a stick. You can only use one at a time.
  • If the player's inventory is full:
    • You don't have enough inventory space to do that.
  • If the player has inventory space:
    • You pick up a stick.

With the stick[edit | edit source]

  • Player: So this is their sacred boulder. It kind of looks like a potato.
  • Player: I wonder if there's a way I can roll it into the village.
  • Player: Maybe I can use the stick I picked up to roll it. The boulder would make a good centrepiece, sort of like a Christmas tree.

  • Player: That seems like a good goblin gift. I should get some more.

Selecting an incorrect item[edit | edit source]

  • Player: That doesn't seem like the best gift for a goblin. I should get some typical goblin items. I know they like things like meat, fighting and 'Big High War God.'

Upon selecting 3 items that goblins like[edit | edit source]

  • If the player has inventory space:
    • Player: That should be good enough for the goblin generals. I hope they will like what I got them.
    • (Player receives Goblin gifts.)
  • If the player's inventory is full:
    • Player: That's all of them. I don't have space in my inventory for the gifts though. I should come back with more space.
    • The gifts you selected remain in the chest, ready to be picked up when you have space for them.

Searching the chest with a full inventory[edit | edit source]

Searching the chest after the player has cleared inventory space, or destroyed the goblin gifts[edit | edit source]

    • Player: Hello. I need to make a great feast for Christmas, on behalf of the generals.
    • If the player has blown up the cauldron during Recipe for Disaster Goblin generals subquest:
      • Goblin Cook: Generals say so? Mudknuckles help. Human can use cauldron over there. It new one after previous one blew up.
    • Else:
      • Goblin Cook: Generals say so? Mudknuckles help. Human can use cauldron over there.
    • Player: Great! Is there any ingredients I can use?
