Injured[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: Greetings traveller, I was injured while exploring down here. Could you spare me some cooked fish, meat or vegetables?
  • If the player has food in inventory:
    • Player: It just so happens that I have some with me!
    • Brother Aimeri: Oh, please hand it over if you can spare it.
  • If the player has no food in inventory:
    • Player: I'm afraid that I don't have any of that type of food with me.
    • Brother Aimeri: Oh, well if you return with any I would greatly appreciate it.
  • If player uses anything other than food on him
    • Brother Aimeri: No thanks. I would rather eat fish, meat or vegetables.

Healed[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: Thanks for helping me. Is there anything you'd like to know about this temple? If you find anything in here, show it to me and I'll tell you what I know about it.
  1. Player: What is this place?
    • Brother Aimeri: This place probably had a name at some point but it has long since been forgotten. The Arceuus librarians refer to this place as the Forthos Dungeon.
    • Brother Aimeri: It is rumoured that this place used to be of religious significance to druidic followers of both Ralos and Ranul.
    • Player: Who are Ralo and Ranul?
    • Brother Aimeri: According to religious texts, Ralos is the god of the sun and Ranul, his brother, is the god of the moon.
    • Brother Aimeri: If you find any artifacts or relics from within this temple, I would be very interested in seeing them.
    • Player: I'll see what I find. Although, I've never heard of Ralos and Ranul.
    • Brother Aimeri: You need only to look up and see their greatness above you when you return to the surface.
  2. Player: Who are you?
    • Brother Aimeri: My name is Brother Aimeri, I am a travelling monk from the distant land of Varlamore on a journey to uncover the secrets of this temple.
    • Brother Aimeri: I worship Ralos, a common practice where I am form. However, I found out that our order may have originated from this temple. If you find anything of interest, please let me know.
    • Player: I'll keep my eyes open.
    • Brother Aimeri: You have my gratitude. Any information you do find would also be of interest to the Arceuus Library. I hope we can uncover the secrets of this place for the greater good.
    • Player: The greater good.
  3. Player: How did you get injured?
    • Brother Aimeri: I found out about this place from Logosia in the Arceuus Library. I came to investigate but was ambushed by the spiders in the room to the north.
    • Brother Aimeri: I'm a scholar not a fighter. I didn't have time to think through my options so I did what came naturally and ran away.
    • Player: Why didn't you decide to run back the way you came from instead of running further into the dungeon where there could be more dangerous creatures?
    • Brother Aimeri: See, the problem with that... Is that it is an excellent idea I wish I had thought of at the time.
    • Player: You've been trapped here for a while! No wonder you were hungry!
  4. Player: I found a strange creature possessing an adventurer within the dungeon and it has cursed one of the altars. Do you know how I can remove it?
    • Brother Aimeri: How strange. Tell me, what did the creature look like?
    • Player: It was a dark black creature with a white skull on its head and curved horns.
    • Brother Aimeri: Let me see... According to my notes that appears to have been a Shaeded Beast, a vile creature which posseses people and corrupts their minds.
    • Brother Aimeri: Only the power of Ralos can remove such a curse. I suggest making an offering to Ralos somewhere within this temple.
    • Player: What kind of sacrifice should I offer?
    • Brother Aimeri: As Ralos is the sun god, any normal bone just won't do. I'd recommend the bones of any dragon.
    • Brother Aimeri: I'd advise staying away from the altar in the mean time.
    • Player: Thanks. I'll have a look around.
  5. Player: I'm fine, thanks.

Reclaiming the Temple key[edit | edit source]

  1. Player: Ask about the Temple Key
    • Player: I received a key from the bone burner but unfortunately I have lost it.
    • Brother Aimeri: The great Ralos foresaw this and presented me with the same key for safe-keeping should you lose it.
    • Player: That's awfully convenient!

Showing temple artifacts[edit | edit source]

Giant egg sac[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: Disgusting! I don't know why you have that, i'd[sic] destroy them before they have a chance to hatch.
  • Player: Actually, I believe they're used as supplies in potion making, they might have some use.
  • Brother Aimeri: Do with it as you wish, just don't come crawling back to me if it comes back to bite you.
  • Player: I see what you did there.

Grubby key[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: Hmm, interesting. I recall seeing a chest to the west of here further down the passage with colouring similar to this key. Perhaps this key opens that chest?
  • Player: Thanks for your help!

Jar of eyes[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: My, you adventurer's[sic] are a strange bunch. I suppose there is a reason you you have kept the creatures[sic] eyes in a jar?
  • Player: I'm not sure myself, though i've[sic] heard some people like to display items like this in their house.
  • Brother Aimeri: As I said, you are a strange bunch indeed.

Sarachnis cudgel[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: That looks like the legs of Sarachnis, bound together by her web. I suppose if anything, it looks heavy enough to crush your enemies.

Sraracha[edit | edit source]

  • Sraracha: Hey, let go of me! What are you doing?
  • Brother Aimeri: It talks?
  • Player: Yeah, I killed Sarachnis and she started following me, I think she's cute so I've decided to keep her around.
  • Brother Aimeri: Do as you wish. I've certainly seen people keep worse company than a spider.

Tattered moon page[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: Oh, very interesting. This page appears to be taken from a religious script which speaks of Ranul.
  • Brother Aimeri: This is very sad. To see such religious scripts desecrated, it's blasphemy!
  • Player: Perhaps the script still exists?
  • Brother Aimeri: Yes, yes! I hope so. I would expect a temple of this nature to have a library of sorts within it. Maybe the original is somewhere within it.
  • Player: I'll have a look for it. Thanks for your help!

Tattered sun page[edit | edit source]

Tattered temple page[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: Oh, very interesting. This page appears to be taken from a historical script about the temple itself.
  • Brother Aimeri: This is very sad. To see such information desecrated in this way.
  • Player: Perhaps the script still exists?
  • Brother Aimeri: Yes, yes! I hope so. I would expect a temple of this nature to have a library of sorts within it. Maybe the original is somewhere within it.
  • Player: I'll have a look for it. Thanks for your help!

Temple coin[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: No! Keep that away from me! I can sense an ominous power coming from that coin. Where did you find it?
  • Player: A fellow adventurer I met within the temple had it on him. What should I do with it?
  • Brother Aimeri: I'd find out where it came from and put it back immediately.
  • Brother Aimeri: The markings on it resemble that of the cult of Ranul, I'd look around for something of religious significance to them.
  • Player: Thanks for your help!

Temple key[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: Fascinating. I'm not quite sure what this is for, perhaps there are doors within the temple which this unlocks?
  • Player: Thanks for your help!

Tome of the moon[edit | edit source]

  • Incomplete:
    • Brother Aimeri: Amazing! This is exactly what I was looking for. This tome contains information about the religion of Ranul.
    • Brother Aimeri: Oh, it appears that there are some pages missing from it. The missing information could prove valuable.
    • Player: Where do you think the missing pages are?
    • Brother Aimeri: This Temple has been abandoned for some time. Maybe the creatures within have destroyed the tome while looking for food. You may have to kill them to recover the pages.
    • Player: Thanks for your help!
  • Complete:

Using an unrelated item[edit | edit source]

  • Brother Aimeri: I'm afraid I don't know anything about that item.
