With an Amulet of ghostspeak or Morytania legs 2 or higher equipped[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Who are you?
  • Knight of the Owl: Who indeed? I am a wise Knight of the Owl. I serve the Justiciar of the Owl.
    • Who's this Justiciar of the Owl?
      • Player: Who's this Justiciar of the Owl?
      • If the player has not completed The Mage Arena II:
        • Knight of the Owl: Saradomin's wisest of servants. It surprises me that you've not heard of his many feats.
        • Player: Do you know any?
        • Knight of the Owl: I know them all.
        • Player: Care to share?
        • Knight of the Owl: Of course. Do you see the foliage around you, adventurer?
        • Player: Yes.
        • Knight of the Owl: For it to be in such a state means that there is unimaginable evil nearby. These plants were grown personally by Zachariah, the Justiciar of the Owl.
        • Knight of the Owl: Anything he plants blossoms with unimaginable vigour. You may have noticed that he has a love for lilies. Perhaps he knew they'd serve multiple purposes in a place like this.
        • Player: Hmm. Hopefully I'll meet him one day.
        • Knight of the Owl: If you do, send my regards.
        • Player: Do you have a name?
        • Knight of the Owl: I'm but a loyal watcher, that is all.
        • Knight of the Owl: So, was there anything else?
          • (Shows other options)
      • If the player has completed The Mage Arena II:
        • Player: Wait...
        • Player: Your helmet looks familiar. I defeated a knight who wore one with a similar design.
        • Knight of the Owl: This helmet? It is based on the one worn by the Justiciar of the Owl. You mean to say you fought the great Zachariah and lived to tell the tale?
        • Player: Well, I suppose so.
        • Knight of the Owl: This can't be... You killed the great Zachariah?
        • Player: Hmm, he didn't really die. He just sort of faded away and left behind a glowing magical hand.
        • Knight of the Owl: Strange, when I saw him last he had no magical hand to speak of... I suppose time has changed the world above beyond my recollection...
        • Player: Yep, it probably has.
          • (Shows other options)
    • What's with the owls?
      • Player: What's with the owls?
      • Knight of the Owl: They are a symbol of the wise. You see, owls can see the light in the darkest of places. Their presence within the sepulchre is one of grave importance.
      • Player: Yes, I saw some down there. They seemed incorporeal in some way, as if they were ghosts...
      • Knight of the Owl: Indeed. These creatures have the blessing of Saradomin and the wisdom of ages long past. They are the watchers of the Hallowed Sepulchre. The last defence against unseen evils.
      • Player: Err... past the wolves?
      • Knight of the Owl: The third floor... Home.
      • Player: ...
      • Knight of the Owl: Thank you for freeing me, adventurer. If the owls have already retreated that far back, it's best that I reside here. From this position I can more effectively watch for evil.
      • Player: Hmm... Perhaps I should steal from graves more often?
      • Knight of the Owl: Excuse me?
      • Player: Oh, nothing.
        • (Shows other options)
    • I'm off now, goodbye.
      • Player: I'm off now, goodbye.
      • Knight of the Owl: Stay watchful.
      • (End of dialogue)
