Standard dialogue[edit | edit source]

  • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You left the shrine. Did Zulrah reject your sacrifice?
    • I killed Zulrah.
      • Player: I killed Zulrah.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: Is that what you think? Board the boat again, and I am sure you will find Zulrah has overcome whatever pitiful attacks you used against him.
      • (End of dialogue)
    • Remind me how this ritual works.
      • Player: Remind me how this ritual works.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: Once I have brought you to the shrine, I will leave you there as an offering to Zulrah. You cannot use the boat to return.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You can use your magical powers to flee from Zulrah's grasp, though that would defeat the point of the sacrifice, and you'll have to try again.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: When Zulrah inevitably kills you, I may be able to retrieve your dropped possessions. If so, I will hold them here.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: Now board the boat and prepare to be sacrificed.
      • (End of dialogue)
    • I'm off.
      • Player: I'm off.
      • (End of dialogue)

Talking to her before offering yourself as a sacrifice[edit | edit source]

  • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: Leave me, human, I have a sacrifice to prepare. If you wish for information, go and see the High Priestess.
  • (End of dialogue)

Attempting to board the boat before offering yourself as a sacrifice[edit | edit source]

  • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: The sacrificial boat is not for you! Begone, and do not meddle in our sacred rites.
    • But I really want to ride the boat!
      • Player: But I really want to ride the boat!
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You display complete ignorance of our sacred rites. Perhaps the High Priestess will consent to enlighten you.
      • (End of dialogue)
    • I'm off.
      • Player: I'm off.
      • (End of dialogue)

Talking to her before after offering yourself as a sacrifice[edit | edit source]

  • Player: The High Priestess said I could offer myself as a sacrifice to Zulrah.
  • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: It is rare for a traveller to make such an offer! Very well, I shall explain the ritual to you...
  • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: Are you ready to face Zulrah?
    • Yes, let's go.
      • Player: Yes, let's go.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: I shall now transport you to Zulrah's shrine and offer your life on behalf of our tribe.
    • No, I've changed my mind.
      • Player: No, I've changed my mind.
      • (End of dialogue)

Talking to her before after offering yourself as a sacrifice, but before killing Zulrah[edit | edit source]

  • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You left the shrine. Did Zulrah reject your sacrifice?
    • I've been there, but I left.
      • Player: I've been there, but I left.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: Well, board the boat and let me take you there again quickly, before Zulrah becomes impatient!
      • Return to Zulrah's shrine?
        • Yes.
        • No.
    • Remind me how this ritual works.
      • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: Once I have brought you to the shrine, I will leave you there as an offering to Zulrah. You cannot use the boat to return.
      • (Same as above)
    • I'm off.
      • (Same as above)

Death retrieval dialogue[edit | edit source]

  • If the player does not have anything to claim:
    • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: I'm afraid I don't have anything for you to collect. If I had any of your items, but you died before collecting them from me, I'd lose them.
  • If the player has items to claim:
    • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You left some stuff at Zulrah's shrine when you left earlier. I've returned it to you now.
  • If the player has items to claim, but not enough inventory space:
    • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You left some stuff at Zulrah's shrine when you left earlier. Clear some more inventory space and I'll give you the rest.
  • If the player has items to claim, but no inventory space at all:
    • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You left some stuff at Zulrah's shrine when you left earlier. Clear some inventory space and I'll give it back.
  • If the player has items to claim and attempts to board the boat again:
    • Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig: You left some stuff at Zulrah's shrine when you left earlier. You'd better deal with it before returning.
