The tri-jester scarf is one of the eight receivable hats and scarves that can be obtained by completing one of the Christmas holiday events that occur once per year. This also rewards the player with all other holiday items associated with Christmas. It matches the Tri-jester hat. If lost, players can get a replacement from Diango in Draynor Village. It is a holiday item and purely for decoration.

Before the 2013 Christmas event, it could only be obtained from picking one up from various spawn points around the world during 12–19 August. When picked up by a player, it would immediately spawn in another random location.

This item can be stored in the toy box space of a costume room, as part of the 2005: Woolly scarves set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
