A Troll was seen during the 2014 April Fools event. During the event, players could sail from Draynor Village to an island in the Eastern Lands. The Troll was one of several NPCs who could appear on the island. Upon arrival, it would say the following phrases:

• Yeh-yeh-yeh-yeh-yeh!
• Tro-lo-lo-lo-lol!
• YeahEEEEEE!
• La-la-la-la!

• The troll's phrases are a reference to an internet meme featuring the Russian singer Eduard Khil, also known as the "Trololo Guy".
