15+ : Barbarian Fishing[edit | edit source]
Unlike most skills, which start at level 1, Agility starts at level 15. This is to allow for training through Barbarian Fishing, as soon as the other skill requirements are met. The lowest level barbarian fish, the leaping trout, requires level 15 Agility, level 15 Strength, and level 48 Fishing to catch. A barbarian rod can be bought from Tynan, and its wieldable version, the pearl barbarian rod, can be bought from Alry the Angler's Angling Accessories.
While most of the experience gained through this activity is Fishing experience, it also provides a small amount of Agility and Strength experience as well. For every 100,000 Fishing experience gained through Barbarian Fishing, the player should expect around 9,000 Agility and Strength experience as well. This means that if a player reaches level 99 Fishing solely through Barbarian Fishing, they would gain more than one million Agility experience along the way, enough to reach about level 74 Agility.
60+ : Wintertodt Pillars[edit | edit source]
From level 60 Agility onwards, it is possible to train Agility by repeatedly using the gap-jump shortcut in the Wintertodt's prison. Each jump gives 90 experience, making it a good way to get a bit of Agility experience while waiting for the Wintertodt to spawn. If focusing solely on training Agility here, the player can expect experience rates of up to 150,000 Agility experience per hour. Keep in mind that the Wintertodt is a dangerous boss, so it is recommended to bring multiple pieces of warm clothing and sufficient food.
