Twisted League

General Equipment

While most equipment varies for the different styles of combat, some pieces of equipment are universal, and have no real variety between the different skills. This is usually because of the limitations of the League, where "better" items for specific combat styles are unavailable.

Rings

Item		Notes
	Ring of recoil	• Returns a small amount of damage done to the player back to the monster attacking them. • Sapphire rings can be crafted at level 20 Crafting. A ring mould can be found using the tool store 4 in a player owned house, requiring 44 construction.
	Brimstone ring	• The only stat-boosting ring available, it gives best-in-slot offensive and defensive bonuses. • Pieces of the Brimstone ring are obtained as rare drops from hydras or the Alchemical Hydra, which require level 95 Slayer to kill.

Capes

Item		Notes
	Black cape	• Has very minor defensive bonuses. • Dropped by the Highwayman west of the Port Piscarilius docks.
	Vestment cloak	• Along with slightly better defensive bonuses, gives a +1 Magic boost. • Only obtainable as a reward from medium clue caskets.
	Obsidian cape (r)	• Has significant defensive bonuses, equivalent to those of a skillcape. • Only obtainable as a reward from master clue caskets.
	Cape of skulls	• Has significant defensive bonuses, equivalent to those of a skillcape. • Only obtainable as a reward from easy clue caskets
	Construct. cape(t)	• Has the same significant defensive bonuses of the obsidian cape, with an additional +4 Prayer bonus. • Obtainable from the Estate Agent after reaching level 99 Construction, with at least one other skill also at level 99.
	3rd age cloak	• Has the same significant defensive bonuses of the obsidian cape, with an additional +5 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as an extremely rare reward from Treasure Trails.

Prayer Equipment

Some gear is notable for its Prayer bonus, rather than any offensive or defensive stats it may give.

	Holy wraps	• Gives a +3 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as a very rare reward from elite clue caskets.
	Kharedst's memoirs	• Besides being useful for its teleports, also gives a +1 Prayer bonus. • Obtained as a reward from completing the Client of Kourend quest.
	Rada's blessing 2	• As of the 2nd blessing it will give a +1 Prayer bonus. The 4th blessing will provide +2 Prayer bonus. • Obtained as a reward from completing the Kourend & Kebos diary.
	Shade robe top	• Gives a +5 Prayer bonus. • Dropped by shades at a 1/4 rate.
	Shade robe	• Gives a +4 Prayer bonus. • Dropped by shades at a 1/4 rate.
	Vestment robes	• Pieces of the vestment robes sets give the highest available Prayer bonuses for their respective item slots. • Only obtainable as rewards from completing easy, medium, and hard clue caskets.

Melee Equipment

Weaponry

At low levels, the easiest source of weaponry will be Briget's Weapons, a shop available with at least 20% Shayzien favour. She sells scimitars up to the mithril scimitar, and swords up to the adamant sword, which is the best weapon she offers. Beyond her offerings, any better weaponry must be obtained either through Smithing or from a monster drop. A list of recommended weapons and how to obtain them is as follows:

	Mystic air staff	• Dropped by Dust devils at a 1/128 rate. Dust devils require 65 Slayer to kill. Despite being a magic staff it has decent crush melee stats, useful for killing Sarachnis.
	Dragon hasta	• Obtained from the brimstone chest at a 1/200 rate.
	Dragon sword	• Dropped by Wyrms at a 1/10,000 rate, increased to 1/2,000 rate while on a Slayer task. Wyrms require level 62 Slayer to kill.
	Dragon warhammer	• Extemely useful for its unique Defence-lowering Special attack. • Dropped by Lizardman shamans at a 1/5000 rate.
	Sarachnis cudgel	• Dropped by Sarachnis at a 1/384 rate.
	Abyssal dagger	• Dropped by Abyssal demons at a 1/32,768 rate, which require level 85 Slayer to kill.
	Abyssal whip	• Dropped by Abyssal demons at a 1/512 rate, which require level 85 Slayer to kill.
	Dragon hunter lance	• Uniquely powerful against dragons and other draconic creatures. • Dropped by the Alchemical Hydra at a 1/1,001 rate, which requires level 95 Slayer and a Hydra slayer task to kill.
	Elder maul	• Only obtainable as a rare reward from the Chambers of Xeric.

Armour

Within the limitations of the Twisted League, most of the usual strength-boosting armours are unavailable. This means that in most cases, metal armour sets will be the best equipment for Melee combat. With at least 20% Shayzien favour, low-level armours can be sourced from Briget's Armour. No shops sell any armours better than Steel, so any stronger equipment must be obtained either through Smithing or from a monster drop. Gloves

	Regen bracelet	• Gives a +7 Strength bonus. • Onyx bracelets can be crafted with level 84 Crafting. Onyxes can be obtained as a drop from Tekton and Skotizo.
	Ferocious gloves	• Gives a +14 Strength bonus. • Dropped by the Alchemical Hydra, which requires level 95 Slayer to kill.

Neckwear

	Amulet of strength	• Gives a +10 Strength bonus, the highest Strength bonus available. • Ruby amulets can be crafted at level 50 Crafting, or obtained as a drop from Mutated Bloodvelds with level 50 Slayer. A complete amulet of strength is also dropped by Undead Druids.
	Amulet of power	• Gives a +6 Strength bonus, along with other offensive and defensive bonuses. • Diamond amulets can be crafted at level 70 Crafting, or obtained from hunting Magpie implings at 65 Hunter as well as the complete amulet. • Amulets of power can alternatively be obtained through medium clue caskets.
	Amulet of glory	• Gives a +6 Strength bonus, along with other offensive and defensive bonuses. • Amulets of glory can be obtained from Dragon implings or as their trimmed variant from hard clue caskets. Dragonstone amulets can also be obtained from Dragon implings, or crafted with level 80 Crafting. Dragonstones can be obtained from Dragon implings, Skotizo, Brutal black dragons, and the Rare drop table
	Amulet of fury	• Gives a +8 Strength bonus, along with other offensive and defensive bonuses. • Onyx amulets can be crafted with level 90 Crafting. Onyxes can be obtained as a drop from Tekton and Skotizo.

Ranged Equipment

Weaponry

Early on, the easiest way to get a Ranged weapon is to fletch one. Fletching a yew shortbow only requires level 65 Fletching, and can fire arrows up to rune arrows. Making a crossbow from scratch is a bit harder, requiring some Smithing levels to make the limbs as well.

	Magic shortbow	• Fires arrows up to rune arrows, including broad arrows. • Can be fletched with level 80 Fletching.
	Rune crossbow	• Fires bolts up to runite bolts, including broad bolts. • Runite limbs can be smithed at level 91 Smithing, or obtained as a drop from Iron dragons or Steel dragons. Making the rune crossbow itself requires level 69 Fletching. • Runite crossbow (u)s can also be farmed from Ancient wizards by hopping worlds before killing all 3 wizards. • The rune crossbow is also available as a standard loot from elite clue caskets.
	Dragon thrownaxe	• Has a powerful special attack which can be used to quickly output damage in a short span of time. • Obtained as a rare drop from Wyrms, Drakes, Hydras, and the Alchemical Hydra.
	Dragon knife	• Has lower damage than other top-tier Ranged weapons, but attacks at the fastest rate. • Obtained as a rare drop from Wyrms, Drakes, Hydras, and the Alchemical Hydra.
	Chinchompa	• Has the unique ability to hit multiple nearby enemies at once. Especially useful in multi-combat areas, such as in the Catacombs of Kourend or the south coast of Hosidius near the Sand Crabs. • Obtained by trapping them in the Kourend Woodland, requiring level 53 Hunter.
	3rd age bow	Fires arrows up to Dragon arrow
	Dragon hunter crossbow	• Strongest available crossbow, with unique bonuses against dragons and other draconic creatures. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from the Chambers of Xeric.
	Twisted bow	• Uniquely powerful against monsters with a high Magic level, such as the Great Olm. Fires all types of arrows, including dragon arrows. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from the Chambers of Xeric.

Ammunition

Ammunition can be a bit challenging to come by within the League, as there are no shops that sell arrows or bolts within Great Kourend and the Kebos Lowlands. Because of this, most ammunition will be crafted by the player, through a combination of Smithing and Fletching. While doing early Smithing training, it can be useful to make various arrowtips or unfinished bolts, for use as ammunition. Once the player has reached level 55 Slayer, they can switch to broad arrows and broad bolts, which can be bought in unfinished form from Konar quo Maten's Slayer Equipment shop.

	Broad arrows	• Provide Ranged strength bonus between mithril arrows and adamant arrows, but are significantly easier to obtain than either. Require level 55 Slayer to use. • Broad arrowheads can be bought in packs of 100 from Konar quo Maten, and can be attached to headless arrows at level 52 Fletching.
	Rune arrow	• Strongest possible arrows usable by the yew shortbow and magic shortbow. • Can be made by hand with level 75 Fletching (rune arrowtips require level 90 Smithing to make, or can be obtained as a drop from Wyrms.) Rune arrows also drop from Brutal black dragons, Brutal red dragons, Brutal blue dragons, Drakes, Dust devils, Fire giants, Ninja implings, Red dragons, and the Chambers of Xeric.
	Dragon arrow	• Strongest arrows available, only usable by the twisted bow and the 3rd age bow. • Dragon arrows drop directly from Dragon implings and the Chambers of Xeric. They can also be made with level 90 Fletching with dragon arrowtips, which can be obtained by opening brimstone chests, or as drops from Brutal black dragons, Brutal red dragons, Brutal blue dragons, Dragon implings.
	Broad bolts	• Have strength equal to adamant bolts, but are significantly easier to obtain. Require level 55 Slayer to use. • Unfinished broad bolts can be bought in packs of 100 from Konar quo Maten, and can be finished with feathers at level 55 Fletching.
	Ruby bolts (e)	• Their Blood Forfeit special effect deals damage equal to 20% of the opponent's current Hitpoints, so it is extremely powerful against monsters with high Hitpoints. • Can be crafted by hand, requiring level 73 Smithing, level 63 Fletching, and level 49 Magic.
	Diamond bolts (e)	• Their Armour Piercing special effect deals extra damage and ignores enemy defences, making it very useful against monsters with high defence. • Can be crafted by hand, requiring level 73 Smithing, level 65 Fletching, and level 57 Magic.

Armour

	Blessed coif	• Each gives +7 Ranged bonus, along with minor defensive bonuses and a +1 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from hard clue caskets.
	Robin hood hat	• Gives +8 Ranged bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from hard clue caskets.
	3rd age range coif	• Gives +9 Ranged bonus. • Only obtainable as an extremely rare reward from Treasure Trails.
	Armadyl helmet	• Gives the best-in-slot +10 Ranged bonus. • Only obtainable as a 1/1,000,000 drop from Armadylean guards, encountered while completing an elite clue scroll.

	Hardleather body	• Gives +8 Ranged bonus. • Crafted from hard leather at level 28 Crafting. Hard leather can be obtained from Baby implings, or by tanning cowhide.
	Studded body	• Gives +8 Ranged bonus. • Crafted from leather body and steel studs at level 41 crafting. • Obtainable as a reward from Reward casket (easy).
	Green d'hide body	• Gives +15 Ranged bonus. • Only obtainable as a reward from medium clue caskets.
	Blue d'hide body	• Gives +20 Ranged bonus. • Blue dragonhide can be obtained from Brutal blue dragons, and can be crafted into the Blue d'hide body with level 71 Crafting. • Brutal blue dragons also have a 1/64 chance to drop a blue d'hide body itself.
	Red d'hide body	• Gives +25 Ranged bonus. • Red dragonhide can be obtained from red dragons, Brutal red dragons, and Sarachnis, and can be crafted into the red d'hide body with level 77 Crafting. • Brutal red dragons and Drakes also have a chance to drop a red d'hide body itself.
	Black d'hide body	• Gives +30 Ranged bonus. • Black dragonhide can be obtained from Brutal black dragons, Magpie implings, and Ninja implings, and can be crafted into the black d'hide body with level 84 Crafting. • Brutal black dragons and the Alchemical Hydra also have a chance to drop a black d'hide body itself.
	Blessed body	• Gives +30 Ranged bonus, along with a +1 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from hard clue caskets.

	Green d'hide chaps	• Gives +8 Ranged bonus. • Only obtainable as a reward from medium clue caskets.
	Blue d'hide chaps	• Gives +11 Ranged bonus. • Blue dragonhide can be obtained from Brutal blue dragons, and can be crafted into blue d'hide chaps with level 68 Crafting. • Eclectic implings also have a 1/100 chance to drop blue d'hide chaps.
	Red d'hide chaps	• Gives +14 Ranged bonus. • Red dragonhide can be obtained from Red dragons, Brutal red dragons, and Sarachnis, and can be crafted into red d'hide chaps with level 75 Crafting. Wyrms also have a chance to drop red d'hide chaps.
	Black d'hide chaps	• Gives +17 Ranged bonus. • Black dragonhide can be obtained from Brutal black dragons, Magpie implings, and Ninja implings, and can be crafted into black d'hide chaps with level 82 Crafting. • Hydras also have a chance to drop black d'hide chaps.
	Blessed chaps	• Gives +17 Ranged bonus, along with a +1 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from hard clue caskets.

Shields

	Hard leather shield	• Gives +2 Ranged bonus. • Crafted from hard leather at level 28 Crafting. Hard leather can be obtained from Baby implings, or by tanning cowhide.
	Blue d'hide shield	• Gives +5 Ranged bonus. • Blue dragonhide can be obtained from Brutal blue dragons, and can be crafted into the blue d'hide shield with level 69 Crafting.
	Red d'hide shield	• Gives +6 Ranged bonus. • Red dragonhide can be obtained from Red dragons, Brutal red dragons, and Sarachnis, and can be crafted into the red d'hide shield with level 76 Crafting.
	Black d'hide shield	• Gives +7 Ranged bonus. • Black dragonhide can be obtained from Brutal black dragons, Magpie implings, and Ninja implings, and can be crafted into the black d'hide shield with level 83 Crafting.
	Blessed shield	• Gives +7 Ranged bonus, along with a +1 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from hard clue caskets.
	Twisted buckler	• Gives +18 Ranged bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from the Chambers of Xeric.

Boots

	Boots of brimstone	• Gives +5 Ranged bonus. • Created by combining a drake's claw (a 1/2,560 drop from Drakes, which require level 84 Slayer to kill) with boots of stone.
	Blessed boots	• Gives +7 Ranged bonus, along with a +1 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from hard clue caskets.
	Ranger boots	• Gives +8 Ranged bonus. • Only obtainable as a reward from medium clue caskets.

	Red d'hide vambraces	• Gives +10 Ranged bonus. • Red dragonhide can be obtained from Red dragons, Brutal red dragons, and Sarachnis, and can be crafted into a red d'hide vambraces with level 73 Crafting. • Lizardman shamans, Dust devils, Brutal red dragons each have a chance to drop a red d'hide vambraces. • Eclectic implings also have a chance to drop red spiky vambraces.
	Black d'hide vambraces	• Gives +11 Ranged bonus. • Black dragonhide can be obtained from Brutal black dragons, Magpie implings, and Ninja implings, and can be crafted into a black d'hide vambraces with level 79 Crafting. • Brutal black dragons, Drakes, and Dust devils each have a chance to drop a black d'hide vambraces.
	Blessed vambraces	• Gives +11 Ranged bonus, along with a +1 Prayer bonus. • Only obtainable as a rare reward from hard clue caskets.

Neckwear

	Tome of fire	• Gives a +8 Magic bonus, even uncharged. As the only shield slot item with a Magic bonus, it is the best option for any form of Magic combat, using fire spells or otherwise. • Obtained as a rare reward from the Wintertodt, and charged with burnt pages, also from the Wintertodt.
