An uncut ruby is a red gem used in Crafting and Fletching. With level 34 Crafting, a player can use a chisel on it to make it into a ruby, granting 85 Crafting experience.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

  • Obtained randomly while mining ores.
  • May be obtained from random event rewards.
  • One uncut ruby is rewarded from the Misthalin Mystery quest, along with two other uncut gems.
  • Two uncut rubies are rewarded from the Troll Romance quest, along with five other uncut gems.

Ruby jewellery can be enchanted using Lvl-3 Enchant, requiring level 49 Magic. The spell requires 1 cosmic rune, 5 fire runes, and the piece of ruby jewellery that is to be enchanted.
