Up for the Challenge is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to "Kill Skotizo without equipping a demonbane weapon." While this task prohibits equipping the Silverlight, Darklight or Arclight, it does not prohibit casting Demonbane spells, since those are not equipped weapons.
The most effective way to complete this achievement is to use the Twisted bow, for its increased power and accuracy against monsters with high Magic bonuses, such as Skotizo. Players who do not own a twisted bow may instead opt to use regular melee attacks, and use demonbane spells on the altars Skotizo summons throughout the fight to more quickly kill them. Taking equipment for both of these attack styles is recommended.
