  • Throwing clubs are a new easy and cheap ranged weapon
  • Players make them by using a knife on a log, each log gives 5 throwing clubs
  • throwing clubs have a range of 4 regular and 6 long distance
  • throwing clubs have a attack speed of 3.0 regular and 2.4 rapid
  • Throwing clubs have much lower requirements to use then darts or knives or axes, however they are much weaker
  • throwing clubs can not be poisoned by players
  • throwing clubs niche and use ingame is that they are a very cheap and very easy way to train ranged over any other type of ranged weapon, all players need is a knife and logs to make them and they are ready for use
  • This meant then ideal for cheap and easy ranging at lower levels as there's less issue with losing some willow clubs made from easily found willow logs over losing rune/dragon arrows or bolts which are harder to come by.
  • they also provide easy way to draw a monsters attention from afar
  • The sheer ease of making them and the availability offsets the poor bonuses and lack of poison options
  • ideally they would be usable for f2p as they would be a cheap way to train ranged at low levels
  • the ease of making them also provides woodcutters a new option instead of dropping them or having to bank them, if cutting willows players can just quickly turn them into clubs and then have a basically free ranged option later if they wish instead of arrow shafts which require more steps to turn into arrows of any kind.
