Black salamander (Hunter)[edit source]

The information from your source is wrong. I just tested catching them myself and they gave 319.5 exp instead of the 319.2 stated on the wiki page. Mizraim (talk) 09:43, 3 April 2022 (UTC)

@Mizraim: Could you please confirm what method you used to verify this? Seeing as it's an invisible decimal, it is not always obvious at first glance. As this rate is confirmed by Jagex, the burden of proof is a little bit higher. I'd go check myself, but I currently don't have membership. To confirm, you can catch 10 salamanders. If you receive a 320 XP drop 5-6 times, then the decimal is .5; if it happens 2-3 times, it's .2 Owl (1).pngOwl (t | c) • 11:25, 3 April 2022 (UTC)

Message from Guppy ruins guy[edit source]

Thank you for the table and the kind words, I really appreciate it (even if it did take me a while to find out how to reply to you ha ha) 110.143.7.41 22:39, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

Message from User:Spineweilder[edit source]

I'm not entirely clear on what your problem is; it'd be better to use a png image than a gif. I am not sure what you mean by the template not recognising it. One completed template looks like this -- Recent uploads SpineTalkContribs 20:48, February 13, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Deletion of nonsensical discussion fragment[edit source]

(Responded on Discord, but also putting this here as a matter of fact) Your reply is located inside Spine's talk page archive 1. From what I know, back in the day when the wiki was hosted by Wikia, {{@}} didn't work and editors had to reply on each other's talk page to get notifications. Although that was changed recently, the use of {{@}} is still not pervalent because of no attention being brought to it; although that may be changed by creating a meta thread for it. Regarding the deletion of your talk page, there is kind of zero exceptions to the policy (with the only being those listed on the page). Be it an eccentric and harsh editor crticising one of your edits on your talk page, it stays there. Shayani (talk) 06:21, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

Re:Laheeb[edit source]

Sure, no problem. (I figured this case was sufficiently obvious, but yeah you're right.) Happy post-Christmas! Fswe1 (talk) 08:45, 26 December 2021 (UTC)

By eponymous, I was referring to the city rather than the person, but evidently it's confusing, so thanks for the edit. ^_^ Fswe1 (talk) 10:45, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
@Fswe1: No worries, the edit was made at the request of User:Riblet15. In my personal opinion, "eponymous" is most easily understood when the name of the person (or organization in this case) to which you are referring is mentioned in full. For example: "Siv Illian is a citizen of West Ardougne and member of its (NB: not simply "the") eponymous West Ardougne Cat Appreciation Society." This way, it is clear to which subject the object is eponymous. Thanks for your work uploading the new postbags!

Yep, that simple article→pronoun change would've solved it.... Silly me. I haven't uploaded any postbags (but I might do the next if I'm quick; I'll have the privilege of coming up with a title, muehehehe), though. Just a bit of maintenance before I finish Desert Treasure. :D Fswe1 (talk) 11:16, 27 December 2021 (UTC)

Blackjack[edit source]

Hello, I saw your edit on Blackjack where you added a lead to the article that resembles the {{otheruses}} template. I assume you already knew that template exists and you resorted to hardcoding the lead due to needing a pipe in the link inserted. Just so you're aware, you can use {{!}} which will insert a pipe that doesn't disrupt the template's parameters, this scenario being a perfect example of correct usage. Just a heads up! :) Ozank (talk) 19:30, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

@Ozank: Your assumption was indeed correct, and thanks very much for the knowledge! I was not aware of this but your advice is greatly appreciated. I'll remember that going forward :) Owl (1).pngOwl (t | c) • 19:33, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

An Edit[edit source]

About 30 minutes ago my edit on https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Bandos_tassets was reversed. Im not sure why this happend. Could anyone explain? Many times in https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Bandos_tassets?veaction=edit it was stated that "Bandos Tassets" are B.I.S. I was too lazy to edit it myself so I made a paragraph stating that the page was incomplete.

MeBeTheBestOSRS'er (talk) 13:03, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

@MeBeTheBestOSRS'er: I reverted your edit because article mainspace is not the place to put notices regarding content that needs updating. The best place for that would be a talk page, such as the one you are viewing right now. The {{incomplete}} template is not meant to be used when there is inaccurate information, such as when information requires an update. At a glance it appeared to me that you simply inserted an {{incomplete}} template because Torva now existed. Furthermore, the link was unformatted (please put page links inside [[brackets]] so hotlinks will be generated). Anyways, User:Fjara has taken care of your request. In the future, if you don't want to perform an edit yourself, please leave a note on the article's talk page or message us in Discord as opposed to cluttering the mainspace. Thanks for letting us know it needed a look. Owl (1).pngOwl (t | c) • 23:51, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

he is wrong[edit source]

Yuno he is wrong.

He is only doing it so I have to edit three times, and he doesn't, to get his way. Clearly he has a vendetta against 0Time GP. In relation to: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Coins?oldid=14241147

Thank you for the edit![edit source]

You corrected the prose in regards to the Cactus Spine farming page which, after viewing the edit history, has apparently been plaguing that specific page/section for a while now. The prose now reads correctly, and I learned something to boot! No more buying cactus spines, lol.

@Ser Nugzalot: Always happy to help out :) I just took another look at the math and made some adjustments. May be worth taking another look at. Thanks for your message! Owl (1).pngOwl (t | c) • 02:05, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Examine text for thrall[edit source]

For a trivia tab for the undead thrall, the examine text “Dead man walking.” is a quote from Graves from League of Legends. I do not know if the quote is from somewhere else though. 2606:54C0:76E0:EA0:0:0:F:1C7 08:46, 22 September 2022 (UTC)

Moved Clue Files[edit source]

Howdy! I saw that you had went and moved some files that were RS:MISSPELL, thanks for doing that! However, since they were moved without a redirect, nor were some of the pages fixed with the correct image name, we have some WantedFiles that appeared. They seem to be from Combat only pure/Master-clues and perhaps some other pages. If you wouldn't mind fixing the dead links from the moves that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! --Legaia 2 Pla · ʟ · 22:54, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for bringing this to my attention. The reason they were missed originally is due to the bot avoiding misspellings within userspace. Combat only pure/Master-clues transcludes several articles that are within another editor's userspace (where the images were transcluded), and so my bot avoided them. I'll watch more carefully in the future. It has been resolved. Owl (1).pngOwl (t | c) • 11:58, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
