OSRS Wiki clan[edit source]

Hi Shayani!

The clan system is being added to OSRS tomorrow, and I wanted to let you know that we're making the OSRS Wiki clan for editors and readers of the wiki. There aren't any requirements to join, but we have cosmetic ranks for people who edit. Due to your contributions to the wiki, you're eligible for the >extremely prestigious< Clan icon - Onyx.png Onyx rank.

If you're interested, check out RuneScape:Clan Chat for how to join.

If you're already in another clan, come say hi some time! We're planning to have weekly random fun events for everyone, too. ʞooɔ 01:44, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

bloodveld image[edit source]

heya, whyd you remove the reference picture for the bloodveld safespot in meiyerditch labs? SunBroHannah (talk) 04:15, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

I didn't remove it. I just moved it to a rather more appropriate/descriptive file name; and also amended the page for the name change. Shayani (talk) 04:23, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

Fremennik Isles[edit source]

Those are different guards. The guards that fight the trolls are non-interactive. Desaniimo (talk) 21:54, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

Inquisitor's mace[edit source]

I think inquisitor's mace does more DPS than the blade of saeldor if the full set is worn since it gives a 2.5% damage buff (as well as the massive crush attack bonus from the armor itself). I agree on its own its on par with the blade and rapier. I won't get involved in this editing dispute but I think that's what point they were trying to get across, albeit its not mentioned on the page to wear the full set with the mace. Ozank (talk) 17:03, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

The set bonus applies to any crush weapon, not just the Inquisitor's mace. So whilst they have the same name and source it's not that relevant that they're "better", beyond it being the best crush weapon. Luna Lana probaly mispelt this 17:05, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

Thankies[edit source]

for your thankies! Fswe1 (talk) 13:57, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

Joey showed me that database; brilliant! (Though it does take the sport out of imagery. ;P) My question was whether the previous version of the ghoul champion wasn't better, though. (Irrespective of its source.) Fswe1 (talk) 08:37, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
I wouldn't use the term "that bad", but it seems like wasted effort to replace the previous version in which the legs and skull mace thingy are more visible. Fswe1 (talk) 09:33, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
More thankies for more thankies, and for transies! (Although I am of the opinion that the reward scrolls are the least interesting edits I make. :P) Fswe1 (talk) 09:40, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
Have some custard. Fswe1 (talk) 19:48, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

Hey[edit source]

Hey. Jakesterwars (talk) 20:24, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

Doorsh[edit source]

Hey, d'you reckon the Stronghold of Security doors should have their own articles? They have chatheads after all, and there's pages for considerably less interesting scenery. Fswe1 (talk) 10:25, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

God letters[edit source]

Hey there! Now that I caught you, would you perhaps be able to add a quote parameter to {{CiteGodLetter}}? And perhaps to CitePostbag as well; I can't really think of a reason why it isn't there, and it should actually be quite useful. I dunno how those lua thingies work. On a related note, on the RS3 wiki, specifying just the issue of the god letter in a citation automatically produces the title and link to the transcript (making those parameters superfluous). That would be pretty useful for us too, I think (same with postbags), but again, I have no idea how to do that. Could you help perhaps? :) Fswe1 (talk) 17:00, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

Cheers! Fswe1 (talk) 17:41, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
You seem to be thanking me a lot. I appreciate it. Also: I do accept gifts in the form of cabbage. :) Should you wish to thank me more: High Priest (Sophanem). BAM. Fswe1 (talk) 18:32, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
I blame but myself. All Hail Brassica Prime! Fswe1 (talk) 18:51, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

Special:Diff/14199259[edit source]

The approach you've taken (and generally on this wiki) is not semantic or very accessible to assistive screen reader software. I've mentioned this to someone else on the wiki from another IP-address before, when someone wanted to keep lots of duplicate wikilinks in an article. I'm afraid there's no {{Unordered list}} template or such yet, so I've used raw HTML tags – and I'd prefer to keep the semantic HTML. 84.250.14.116 18:34, 28 October 2021 (UTC)

Category:Incomplete articles, is flooded with nocat=yes varbit pages, and none of the actual articles[edit source]

RuneScape:Varbit/13097 has nocat=yes, but it's still in Category:Incomplete articles. Your edit: Special:Diff/14200201 84.250.14.116 02:30, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

Deletion of nonsensical discussion fragment[edit source]

Spine's message on my talk page is not part of an actual conversation, but is rather a fragment of a conversation he has deleted from his own page. This is the edit in which I originally started the discussion (on his page). However, Spine opted to respond on my personal Talk page instead of the original thread for some reason. That thread has since been nuked from orbit; it exists neither on his talk page nor does it exist anywhere in any of his archives. I fail to understand why, though the discussion has evidently been nuked by an admin, remnants of it should be forced to remain on my talk page. I am also opposed to stuffing it into an archive page of my own, for the same reason I have outlined.

To be clear: I am formally requesting my talk page and all remnants to be deleted. An archive of the page would serve no benefit. A {{d}} would be optimal, as the edit history does retain details as to my previous alias, which is undesirable. Owl (talk) 05:51, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
