'You' in articles[edit source]

Hey there, I'm noticing you're doing some awesome work on the wiki lately, cleaning out red links and creating new articles. However, in a recent batch of Scoreboard articles, I'm noticing you're wording your text using "you", instead of using a third-person phrasing. We typically use "Players can read X" or "This can be used to view Y", instead of "You can check Z". For the relevant style guide (which admittedly is quite a read so I can understand you wouldn't know it all by heart), check RS:STYLE#POV.

Anyway I'm loving the edits! Keep it up! Joeytje50 talk Santa hat.png 00:40, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Thank you!

Another quick request: aside from adding navboxes to pages you create (like Cogs (Oaknock's Machine)), could you also add those pages to the relevant navboxes? That way people can also find the new pages from the navboxes. Joeytje50 talk Santa hat.png 16:46, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

Adding options=none[edit source]

Hey there, I notice you were adding options = none to pages. We decided that adding that is probably just going to be a bot job after the OSWF task has finished (once User:Joeytje50/Needs options has emptied out completely), because that's much easier to do just with a bot job. If you want to participate in the OSWF task, you can make edits adding options from that subpage I linked. Adding options = none for switch-infobox versions with no options is fine for that task, for items which also have other options on other infobox versions (i.e. when they're listed on my subpage).

PS: It might be helpful to join our OSWF discord channel to make it a bit easier to coordinate stuff with the task. Joeytje50 talk Santa hat.png 15:07, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Thanks! I have no intention of adding options to 400 pages tbh, that's a bit much. I was just wondering, the red chinchompa has a |destroy = Release, while the other chins have a |destroy = Drop. Do you have any experience with chins? I don't do hunter that much... TheGuyWhoWantedToHaveAnIpAdressInHisUsernameWhichWasNotAllowed (talk) 15:11, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Good spot, I've fixed it. Chins only have a release option, not a drop option. By the way, it's no problem having options = none on pages, so please don't undo those edits ;)
All I meant was that the rest of those pages are gonna be done with a bot job afterwards. Joeytje50 talk Santa hat.png 15:15, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Should that be |options = none or |options = None ? TheGuyWhoWantedToHaveAnIpAdressInHisUsernameWhichWasNotAllowed (talk) 15:17, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Ah, it should be |options = None, I was just being a bit lazy typing here '-_- Joeytje50 talk Santa hat.png 15:18, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi TheGuyWhoWantedToHaveAnIpAdressInHisUsernameWhichWasNotAllowed!

The clan system is being added to OSRS tomorrow, and I wanted to let you know that we're making the OSRS Wiki clan for editors and readers of the wiki. There aren't any requirements to join, but we have cosmetic ranks for people who edit. Due to your contributions to the wiki, you're eligible for the >extremely prestigious< Clan icon - Onyx.png Onyx rank.
