Vorkath Speed-Runner is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to kill Vorkath in less than 54 seconds.

Strategy

A simple although luck-dependent strategy is to use the dragon hunter crossbow with enchanted ruby and diamond dragon bolts, as the bolts' special effects have a chance to hit exceptionally high. Players should also continue to damage the boss during the acid phase (via 'woox-walking'), and avoid eating during the kill to prevent wasting attack ticks. Guthix rests may prove useful to tick-eat on low health for this reason. Dragon thrownaxes may be used as a special attack weapon to finish off the boss when it has low health.

Although using a dragon hunter lance is possible for this task, it is more unlikely; the two weapons are similar in overall kills per hour, but the lance performance is more consistent while the crossbow kill times are more variable. Should players use a lance, dragon claws are recommended for the special attack.

Players who are purely interested in completing the task without wanting to finish the kill for the loot may opt to reset if many of the first hits deal little damage or the ruby bolt special effect does not activate, or if Vorkath uses the zombified spawn attack instead of the acid pool attack.
