Varrock Diary discount perk[edit | edit source]
Players who have completed tiers of the Varrock Diary may buy noted battlestaves at a discounted price of 7,000 coins each once per day from the barrel on the ground floor[UK]1st floor[US] of the shop. The number of staves available depends on the player's progress in the Varrock Diary.
Buying discounted battlestaves is a good daily moneymaking method, as players can immediately sell them on the Grand Exchange, where they usually go for over 8,000 coins each. Players can also choose not to sell them and use them to train Crafting by making elemental battlestaves, which is especially useful for Ironmen.
The table below shows the corresponding number of available battlestaves for each of the Varrock Diary sets, and the profit made from selling them on the Grand Exchange.
|Diary||Daily stock||Total price||Profit||Profit per 14 days||Profit per 30 days|

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Laying on the northern table inside the shop, there appears to be a Pharaoh's sceptre, a Slayer's staff, and a Rod of ivandis. However, Zaff does not sell any of these in his shop.
