Zuriel's staff detail.png

Zuriel's staff is a magic weapon requiring level 78 Magic and Attack to wield. It can only obtained during a game of Last Man Standing, either from opening a chest using a bloodier key or from magical loot crates that spawn in various areas of the island. Upon leaving the island, it is removed from the player and thus cannot be taken out of the minigame.

In Deadman seasonals, it is part of Zuriel's equipment, a set of Ancient Warriors' equipment, and is dropped by any monster found in the Wilderness as part of a global loot table, the chance being relative to the combat level of the monster.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Ancient Warriors' equipment were originally added in a 2008 update, a year after the backup of Old School RuneScape.
  • Unlike its original incarnation, it does not degrade. The original Zuriel's staff also functioned differently to the Old School RuneScape version - it did not have any passive effect, however it allowed the user to cast Miasmic spells - a branch of spells on the Ancient Magicks spellbook that could only be cast with Zuriel's staff. Players affected by Miasmic spells had their Ranged and melee attack speeds temporarily halved, akin to Ice spells; the duration of this effect increased with the level of the spell.
