Guide Rewrite[edit source]
This guide is terrible. The chronology jumps around constantly and many objectives are repeated. The ability to telegrab should be removed from the article as it DOES NOT "save 10 minutes". It saves about 1 minute. The ability to telegrab needs to go in the "trivia" section. What takes the 20 different authors of this guide several paragraphs to say could be summed up in 1 sentence. 188.8.131.52 22:47, August 31, 2015 (UTC)
If you think you can word it better then by all means, go ahead (although at the time of writing, it seems you've already done that). However, the trivia section is for little things like bugs and references - an alternative step in a quest should stay in the main body of the article. - Yeah, I went ahead and rewrote it. It was really confusing, I couldn't help it. Go ahead and clarify the telegrab method if it needs to be clarified, I did end up leaving it in the main article. IMO, it just adds a level requirement to the quest while removing 3 interesting NPCs from the content of the quest. The time saved seriously is not more than 3 minutes. 184.108.40.206 23:48, August 31, 2015 (UTC)
If anyone's curious about what the chemist says/does when you tell him you are carrying a plague sample, he says: "You idiot! A plague sample should be confined to a lab! I'm taking it off you. I'm afraid it's the only responsible thing to do." I don't know if it triggers a sequence that can't be clicked away from (when there is no "click to continue" button and the conversation progresses automatically) or not.
(From RS Wiki's transcript of the quest)
Since jagex changed the elven questline they also dumbed down a few things and now you are able to teleport with the vials. They also fixed the bug that allowed you to dupe the guard into letting you bring in the vials if you had more than one of each. Telegrabbing doesn't work anymore either.

- I'd just like to chime in and say that I've recently completed this quest, and was unaware of the teleportation restriction. That being said, I teleported with the vials in my inventory, successfully turned them into the errand runners & Guidor, and ultimately completed the quest. Due to inexperience editing this wiki (Just created an account to discuss this point and possibly make future edits) I'll refrain from editing it and leave it to more experienced hands.
