the feathers drop seems to be two different drops 1-5 or 1-25 the 1-25 being rarer

Special attack due to low weight

The page currently mentions a special attack that is based on player weight. While the message in the chat seems to suggest that this should be preventable, I've tried with 200+ weight (by bringing 9 granite platebodies + some other stuff) and still got hit with the special attack with the same message. Max hit is also certainly higher than 8. If anyone has successfully managed to stop this special attack, I'd be interested in hearing how or what the weight cutoff is. Dont forget to include that a player must pay 80 slayer points inorder to receive a gryphon task from Steve or Kuradel.

The special attack seems to be based on the weight of *worn* equipment. Stuff in the backpack does not count (As I mentioned previously here on the discussion page, I previously brought >200kg worth of stuff in the inventory). The threshold seems to be around a weight of 30. I think I had worn equipment weighing 31 kg which allowed me to not get hit by the special attacks.

It might be useful to emphasize EQUIPPED weight when killing gryphons. Overlooked that and kept getting knocked back while having heavy things in my inventory XD

Hard Clue Scroll Weight

I did 7199 Kc offtask for Horn of Plenty (ty Jagex we love on-task drop rates) and received 74 hard clues. My best guess would be 1/100 and I got slightly lucky or it could just be some weird number. (My actual avg was 1/97.2) Musial (talk) 21:43, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
