Heya. I'm YoshiFan12. I've been playing OSRS since March 2019, and joined the wiki around a year later! I've been editing since January 2021.
When not bankstanding at the GE wondering what to do next (despite having made extensive plans on how and when to train my skills) you can find me here, making batches of redirects via SearchDigest, sitting on the Recent Changes page, or doing general cleanup where I can. I also like adding changes from recent updates (despite updates dropping at 3AM my time).

To-do list
[edit | edit source]- Grab deadeye and mystic vigour prayer scrolls, leave them in bank until beta world to check message below 63 pray (if there is any)
- Grab two to see what the text is if you read the scroll after already learning Deadeye/Mystic Vigour (could prob leave this for Grid Master)
- Add note on every boss strat page with unfortified ward that unfortified ward loses to accuracy bonuses from mage's book if the extra 1% mage damage does not grant a max hit, less relevant for things like slayer monsters where your accuracy is already very high
- Test costume needle on more items - does not appear to work on certain quest items or objects (eg. torn robes of Elidinis, EW1 bellows)
- Divine rune pouch
- All Huey hide items
- Pheasant costume
- Change respawn time for Wilderness NPCs — set to 9 seconds (15 ticks; so type "15" under "respawn") globally on 10 April 2024 as part of this poll

- at the very least revamp the "equipment" section on Ranged to sort weapons into three tables based on their typing
Lore theories
[edit | edit source]- The player is the reincarnation of Odysseus, akin to how Bob is the reincarnation of Robert the Strong.
- This explains a piece of Zorgoth's dialogue directed towards Bob ("Ah, I see you [Robert] brought your friend [the player] with you. I'm surprised to see you here after all this time. Curious...") and somewhat explains Bob's sacrifice (Odysseus tanks two dragonfire hits, which ends up saving Robert's life; Bob jumps in front of Galvek's dragonfire to save our life).
- This also explains Hogst's dialogue about Bob's death ("Regarding his death, he said it was necessary, so please don't feel bad about it[...]He never explained why, only said that it had to be that way.")
- It's both funny and poetic (pet saves owner, owner saves pet)
- This does not explain why Bob's death was deemed "necessary" (He knows something more than we do?)

- The plural form of "hasta" is "hastae", NOT "hastas" (per Latin's first declension noun rules)
