opening my first elite casket and it simply asked me if I wanted a chance at a mimic boss fight. this article says you need to do something else to be eligible for them

Per both the elite and master casket pages, saying yes to that prompt will just result in the game telling you to go to the strange casket, so you still need to go to Watson's house anyway. YoshiFan12 (talk) 07:43, 31 August 2025 (UTC)

The page for The Mimic boss notes that "There is a one-time guaranteed Mimic encounter (if Mimic encounters are enabled) on either the 11th master or 26th elite casket, whichever is first (not the 10th/25th as Jagex announced)." This page still has the incorrect numbers that Jagex stated.
