I really question the 1/5000 droprate here and the 1/400 droprate for the long bone. I don't know if Jagex has perhaps changed those or miscoded them, or if the ring of wealth has any affect on those droprates, but I kill hill giants commonly for slayer tasks. Almost every task I get 100-150 hill giants, and I've gotten both the long bone and the curved bone in less than 100 kills almost every time. I'm going to start taking more detailed drop logs for them, be prepared hear updates on this from me. 73.212.189.205 07:36, August 21, 2015 (UTC)

I just buried a Curved Bone, and received a 16 Prayer XP drop. So I would guess similar to the Long Bone, the Curved Bone also gives slightly more than 15 Prayer XP when buried

I traded barlak 2 curved bones and 2 long bones, and got from 17500 cons exp -> 107,500 cons exp. Thats 90,000 cons exp. The bones are not 4500 + 6750 experience.

Bryophyta also drops curved bones, but no big bones. Unless Bryophyta no longer drops curved bones?

Bryophyta is in the item sources table already. Following the changes on 25 June, she drops giant bones instead of big bones (in addition to long and curved). Below Ice Mountain (talk) 08:29, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
