This article is now incorrect as the there are many bows the Iron Arrow cannot be used with, such as: Training Bow, Starter Bow, Ogre bow, Comp Ogre Bow, Craw's Bow, Crystal Bow, Webweaver Bow, Bow of Faerdhinen, and Bow of Faerdhinen(c)

Technically correct; however it's probably not necessary to explain that the training bow, ogre bows or specific high-level ammo-generating bows cannot in-fact fire iron arrows. --Discograph (talk) 15:40, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

The original sentence reads:

"Iron arrows are stronger than bronze arrows, and does not require a specific bow to fire."

This sentence is problematic for two key reasons:

Grammatical Issue: The subject "Iron arrows" is plural, but the verb phrase "does not" is singular. The correct phrasing should be "do not require."

Ambiguous Meaning: The phrase "do not require a specific bow to fire" may misleadingly suggest that iron arrows can be used without a bow, which is illogical, arrows cannot be fired independently. Additionally, this wording implies that any bow can fire iron arrows, which is inaccurate if only certain bows (specifically those designed to use arrow-type ammunition) are compatible.

Iron arrows can be purchased from Lowe's Archery Emporium in Varrock, or Brian's Archery Supplies in Rimmington. The shop in Rimmington does not sell iron arrows according to it's wiki page.
