I just wanted to let it be known that a 'Imcando hammer (off-hand)' will work. So I'm not sure how correct the warning for the Imcando hammer is.

In the walkthrough it fails to mention the part where you actually craft the crowbar with thurgo, it says to talk to him, he says he needs those items, then it just skips, i at first assumed i would go talk to the other guy and he would proceed with the quest idk

You don't need to sail to get to thurgo. You can just there and get back to pandemonium whichever way you want with the newly acquired crowbar.
