2019 Easter Event

[edit | edit source]

Starting the 2019 Easter Event

[edit | edit source]
  • Easter Bunny: Oh no, why today of all days?
  • Player: What's wrong Mr Rabbit?
  • Easter Bunny: I'm having an eggceptionally bad day. But if you must know, my Egg making machine is shell dry and the next shipment of fuel will not be here for a while!
  • Easter Bunny: I would love it if a cracking adventurer, such as yourself, would help a Bunny in need.
  • Will you help the Easter Bunny?
  • Yes.
    • Player: I would love to help you mix up some more fuel.
    • Easter Bunny: Thanks for eggreeing to help me.
    • Easter Bunny: There are three ingredients that are needed to make the fuel.
    • Easter Bunny: The first ingredient is Dried cocoa. During any other time of year this ingredient would be eggceptionally hard to get.
    • Easter Bunny: But if I'm spot on with my information, there should be a merchant rolling into Al Kharid soon. He should sell you some.
    • Easter Bunny: Try not to bring me camel dung, they do look similar.
    • Easter Bunny: The second ingredient is really high quality milk.
    • Easter Bunny: The most eggceptional milk around has got to be milk from Hosidius, I'm sure Duke Horacio's cook can help you out.
    • Easter Bunny: The third ingredient is some cracking spices, very special ones. Can't go into detail, trade secret and all.
    • Easter Bunny: I'm sure if you talk to Martin in Draynor, he'll be a good egg and help you out if you ask for Special spices.
    • Easter Bunny: Since you're doing errands for me. Feel Free to use my tunnels to get around.
    • Easter Bunny: But don't make a yolk out of it, you may only use each tunnel once. Can't have you interrupting my workers any more than that.
    • Easter Bunny: Also, if you ever forget what you need, there will be a worker nearby who can remind you.
    • Player: I'll get right on it. Be back soon.
    • Easter Bunny: See you soon!
    • (End of dialogue)
  • No.
    • Player: Get stuffed.
    • Easter Bunny: I'll have you know this is no yolking matter.
    • (End of dialogue)

After starting the event, before the supplies are gathered

[edit | edit source]
  • Where do I get the Dried cocoa?
    • Player: Where do I get the Dried cocoa?
    • Easter Bunny: During any other time of year this ingredient would be a nightmare to get.
    • Easter Bunny: But if I'm spot on with my information, there should bea merchant making his way from the Kharidian Desert to Al Kharid.
    • Easter Bunny: I'd suggest checking the Shantay Pass.
    • (Shows other options)
  • Where do I get the bottle of Hosidius milk?
    • Player: Where do I get the bottle of Hosidius milk?

    • Player: Where do I get the Special spices?

    • Easter Bunny: He should get the hint.
    • (Shows other options)
  • Goodbye.
    • Player: Goodbye.
    • Easter Bunny: Keep on rolling my friend!

[edit | edit source]

When first spoken to, after starting the quest

[edit | edit source]
  • Player: Easter Bunny! I knew I would find you here.
  • Easter Bunny: Easter Bunny... Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time...
  • Player: How long exactly?
  • Easter Bunny: Oh, almost a year.
  • Player: ...
  • Player: What have people been calling you instead?
  • Easter Bunny: I go by many names.
  • Easter Bunny: Some call me 'Eggrabbit'.
  • Easter Bunny: Others call me 'Long Ears Johnson'.
  • Player: Mhmm?
  • Easter Bunny: Many times have I walked past Varrock West Bank and been called 'Sellin lobbies 200gp'.
  • Easter Bunny: I don't really understand that one.
  • Player: Do you think perhaps they weren't talking to you?
  • Easter Bunny: Who could blame them? I'm a failure!
  • Player: Oh come on now, what do you mean?
  • Easter Bunny: You call me the Easter Bunny? What right do I have to that name?
  • Easter Bunny: I don't feel the spirit of Easter within me.
  • Easter Bunny: *sniff*
  • Easter Bunny: I'm just a big dumb rabbit!
  • Player: Aww, that's... come on!
  • Easter Bunny: I've ruined Easter for everyone!
  • Player: Aww...
  • Easter Bunny: WAHHHH!
  • The Easter Bunny is clearly very upset and needs cheering up. Perhaps the other people in the Rabbit Hole have some ideas?
  • (End of dialogue)

When spoken to a second time

[edit | edit source]
  • Player: Hello Easter Bunny, how are you feeling?
  • Easter Bunny: Maybe I'll make my way through this sorry old world as a clown...
  • (End of dialogue)

Cheering up Easter Bunny with Bowley Moley's Bowling

[edit | edit source]
  • Bowley Moley: Hello! Have you come to take part in the festivities?

  • The Easter Bunny is looking awfully glum this year.
    • Player: The Easter Bunny is looking awfully glum this year.
    • Player: Perhaps we can help raise the Easter spirits?
    • Bowley Moley: You want to do some necromancy... To cheer up the Easter Bunny?
    • Player: No no no! It's just a figure of speech.
    • Player: I just wonder if we could do anything to help.
    • Bowley Moley: Leave it to me boss.
    • Bowley Moley: I happen to know the E.B. is a big fan of bowling. In fact, he used to be a wizard on the lanes. A champion!
    • Bowley Moley: I also happen to have the ability to...
    • Bowley Moley: ...Rig the game in his favour.
    • Bowley Moley: Which is handy, he's very out of practise nowadays.
    • Player: Won't he suspect something?
    • Bowley Moley: Oh no! You see, I have these gears set up just here.
    • Bowley Moley: Wait, are you just trying to get my trade secrets?
    • Player: This is strictly a humanitarian effort!
    • Bowley Moley: ...
    • Player: Bun-itarian..?
    • Bowley Moley: ...
    • Player: Look, I just want to get Easter back on track.
    • Player: You can keep your hustle going, I just want to help the Easter Bunny.
    • Bowley Moley: Oh alright, since I do owe the big softie. But I've got my whiskers on you!
    • Small cutscene ensues...
    • Easter Bunny: So, what is it you wanted to show me, [player name]?
    • Player: Well, Bowley here let me in on your secret. Bowling champion three years in a row.
    • Easter Bunny: Oh. Those were the days, I haven't partaken for while now though...
    • Easter Bunny: I just haven't had the spring in my step with my egg responsibilities.
    • Player: Well, here's your chance!
    • Easter Bunny: What do you mean? It's hardly fun without decent competition.
    • Easter Bunny: And nobody here quite likes bowling.
    • Bowley Moley: They what now?
    • Bowley Moley: I've only just gone and spent ages digging out this place and installing the machinery!
    • Player: Nothing to worry about I'm sure!
    • Easter Bunny: Ah Bowley, it is good to see you again.
    • Bowley Moley: Long Ears Johnson. Come to terrorise me pins again?
    • Player: We'll see about that.
    • Easter Bunny: Oh yes, [player name] is apparently quite good.
    • Easter Bunny: It's been so long since I've had a decent set with a worthy opponent.
    • Player: Chin up bucko, I'm here and ready to challenge your rule of these alleys!
    • Easter Bunny: Well, I suppose I'm not doing anything else. Why not?
    • The player bowls down 3 carrot pins.
    • Easter Bunny: A fine shot, but not quite enough!
    • Easter Bunny: Watch this!
    • Bowley Moley: !
    • Thunk
    • The Easter Bunny bowls a strike.
    • Player: A lucky strike?
    • Player: I'd better shape up or this will be quite one sided.
    • Player: And that would be no fun at all.
    • Player: ...
    • Bowley Moley: ...
    • Clang
    • The player bowls down the middle 6 pins.
    • Easter Bunny: Ah, so you have some fight in you.
    • Player: I could do this all day.
    • Easter Bunny: That's exactly what I wanted to hear!
    • The screen fades black with the text "Some time later..."
    • Easter Bunny: I'm surprised I hadn't heard about your prowess before, [player name].
    • Player: Ah you know me, the most modest adventurer in Gielinor.
    • Easter Bunny: Ah, well I suppose I should pack it in while I'm ahead.
    • Easter Bunny: But we should do this again.
    • Bowley Moley: Aye we should! Also if you could get the word out about my establishment, I'll be raking it in!
    • Bowley Moley: I mean... The Rabbit Hole will enjoy all the visitors?
    • Player: Well, anyway...
    • Player: It was a close match. How are you feeling now?
    • Easter Bunny: Oh it was fun but I think I'm just going to sit in the Rabbit Hole a bit longer.
    • Easter Bunny: I should be off. Always a pleasure, Bowley.
    • Bowley Moley: Aye, till next time.
    • (End of dialogue)

  • Easter Bunny: Oh please no more!
  • Player: Don't worry, this is fancy carrot juice. I made it myself with some fantastic carrots.
  • Easter Bunny: You made it? Well in that case I suppose I might give it a try. As long as Wheeler hasn't been near it.
  • Player: I made sure of that. Go on!
