Friendly ent is a group Forestry event with entlings requesting players to prune their leaves in a stylish fashion to become pruned entlings before the timer runs out.

Overview

Five entlings appear, with each one asking for a random prune style. Eligible players have the option to prune the top, back, or sides, depending on the overhead request of the entling. If the player chooses the correct option based on their request, the player will receive Woodcutting and Fletching experience as well as anima-infused bark. If the player chooses the wrong option, the entling will first stun the player and then exclaim that the chosen prune action is incorrect. If all five entlings are fully pruned, then eligible players earn bonus Woodcutting experience, anima bark, and a 100% chance of receiving an egg nest spawned on the ground.

How to play

Eligible players in this event are defined as players chopping uncommon trees within a 10 game square radius to the south-west corner of the tree spawning the event. More specifically, each eligible player contributes an average of 8 required prunes per entling (up to 700 required prunes). Players will need to either left-click and select any of the appropriate prune options for that entling, or right-click on the entling and choose a prune option. If players select the wrong pruning option or attempt to prune a pruned entling, they will be stunned for 3 seconds. This event is two minutes long and will require accurate clicking as the entlings will roam around and will sway from side to side. Below is a table on what the player must choose to prune an entling correctly:

For each successful prune, eligible players will earn between 4 and 5 anima-bark along with the following experience:

Towards the end of the event, all of the entlings will yell Time to go!; this gives players 44 ticks (26 seconds) to finish pruning all the entlings before the timer runs out. Bonus rewards scale with not only the eligible player's Woodcutting level but also with how many entlings were fully pruned.

Rewards

Each fully pruned entling gives a 20% chance of eligible players receiving an egg nest spawn, which players must work together to help each other receive the egg nest. Below are the rewards and equations that show the amount of bonus Woodcutting experience, anima bark, and leaves eligible players can receive:

Note that bonus Woodcutting experience can increase if players are using visible/invisible Woodcutting boosts such as the Forestry or Lumberjack outfit.

Note: Players who are deemed ineligible will receive the message, As you weren't chopping near the event when it started, you aren't eligible for full rewards. Players can still receive the egg nest with the same 20% chance per fully pruned entling.
