The Freaky Forester is a random event.

Players are teleported to a small clearing in a remote forest in Gielinor where they are asked to kill a pheasant with a certain number of tail feathers. To receive a reward, kill a pheasant with the correct amount of tails and give the raw pheasant to the forester, however any pheasant can be given to the Freaky Forester, but incorrect ones will yield no reward.[1] Dealing damage to pheasants grants no experience. After successfully completing this random event, players are rewarded with a piece of the Lederhosen set, or 500 coins if they already own the set.

The event can be left at any time by using the portal, this however grants no rewards if the event is not completed.

When it was made as an anti-bot event, the idea was that bots couldn't just keep giving him pheasants until they stumbled upon the correct one and claimed the reward. So he takes what he's given, but the reward is dependent on it being the correct one."
