Still images should be in the .png format, animations in the .gif format, and audio files in the .ogg format, unless taken from an official Jagex source.
File names must be descriptive. Names such as runescape.png, untitled.png, or 31-03-2026-04:37.png are not acceptable. The format suffix should be lowercase.
Please select a license from the dropdown when uploading an image. This will tag the image with the appropriate license for the selected image type.
After an update, the maximum screen brightness got increased above its old maximum. For consistency, please use a screen brightness similar to its old maximum, which looks as follows in the display settings:
