has any reasoning been given for the level 30 requirement to hand in the bones for experience? The quest has no construction requirement to access the goblin city. I can't see why if i got lucky and ggot a long bone, and haven't started training construction yet for example, i could not use the bones for an early boost. Would anyone on the team even know at this point? 207.161.153.137 04:15, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

It's just an arbitrary limit set by the devs, cause going and getting a free 5k exp at those levels would completely skip all the early levels of construction immediately, like 2 curved bones could take you from level 1 to 30 on their own. In his dialogue for an ingame reason as to why there is a requirement, "it's highly technical so you won't understand if you don't already have level 30 Construction." I am not sure if Note that Barlak can take them from your bank, so it is not necessary to have any bones in your inventory. is still true

Yes, it is still true. I have a long bone in my bank and Barlak is offering to buy it. YoshiFan12 (talk) 17:16, 7 October 2025 (UTC)

I just sold a long bone to Barlak and received 9000 XP. Runelite XP Tracker says I performed 1 action and gained 9000 XP. I am positive I only had 1 long bone in my inventory.

"at a universal rate of 1/400" is not true. Ironically, the sentence already says "with some exceptions", but it's in the wrong clause.
