• I spoke to Guild Scribe Verity in The Burrow and learned that she is concerned about the disappearance of Guild Hunter Fox. She suggested I talk to Guild Hunter Wolf to learn more.

After speaking to Guild Hunter Wolf

After checking Kiko's bed

After finding and talking to Fox

• I distracted Kiko and then inspected his Bed to find some of the fur missing. Fox presumably took a sample to help him find the right replacement. Wolf suggested I look for him near the Pyre Foxes on the way to the Locus Oasis.
• I found Fox by a Chasm near the Locus Oasis, but he'd been attacked. He asked me to make a Poultice for him using leaves from two nearby Plants along with an Embertailed Jerboa Tail.
