is it me or is this object like, an obvious reference to how the rejuvinating pools in the game look like bird baths, and is this worth mentioning

I highly doubt that was the intent of the developer who created/added the bird bath, nor was it the intent of the dev who created the PoH pools. Keep in mind that PoH pools are placed in a superior garden — to me those resemble garden water fountains (some of which can look similar to bird baths).
