Incorrect live events listed

'Bee Hive' is currently shown as a live Foresty event, however that should be swapped with 'Flowering Tree'. J0nix (talk) 18:53, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

Flowering event / bees

I have removed the sentence that suggests only doing the minimal effort in the bee event as this is greedily brings the final score down for *everybody* and the players who participate are screwed over. Can Event trigger from Farming Patches?

The page says that the fixed timers and level boosts don't apply to farming patches, but the events section doesn't explicitly say anything - but I'm not confident the lack of being listed in the exclusions makes it truly included. 2.103.164.92 17:35, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

Clarity re players and members

I am a little concerned that the article conflates the terms 'players' and 'members'. Both F2P and P2P are players but only the latter are typically called 'members' so when saying players can store all tools etc in the forestry kit, this is a bit misleading, IMO. The article frequently references 'players' when perhaps it should use the term 'members'. So, as I understand it, (and I may be wrong!) while all players - free and paying - can interact with forestry events and gain Anima-infused bark, only members may benefit from such gain. The last para of "Forestry Events" assumes everyone is in possession of a dragon axe - which a level 99+ F2P will never be.

I did not want to go on a massive editing spree as, still being relatively new to editing here, I am aware of treading on more-experienced Wikitoes. Camelus ferus (talk) 18:16, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Friendly Ent egg nest chance

Players are saying that every successfully pruned ent contributes a 20% chance to get an egg nest. Don't see any sources for this, though. Anyone heard of this? CX gamer (talk) 15:02, 27 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello, we have data from our Forestry CC discord showing there is a 100% spawn rate for an egg nest to all eligible players if all 5 ents are fully pruned. From this (in conjunction with the drop log project), we were able to determine that only one ent fully pruned causes a 20% spawn rate, two ents at 40%, three ents at 60%, and four ents at 80%. How many logs are needed for the beehive event? And what difference does each tier of log make for said event?

The amount of logs needed for the beehive event are determined by how many players on the tree that triggered the event. There is no value difference that each tier of log makes when building the beehive, rather it is the experience (both Woodcutting and Construction + anima bark) that is awarded for building the beehive with those tiered logs. Are there drop rates for the Flowering Bushes yet? I wanna know how often I can get strange fruits and seeds for farming herbs for my im acc

We have ballpark estimates on Flowering Tree (Forestry event). Cool thing is you always get strange fruits if you're eligible for drops, although I think stealing from fruit stalls would be faster. YoshiFan12 (talk) 17:50, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

The entlings reward spawns on the ground, unlike other rewards which go directly to inventory. It could be noted or highlighted, so people understand there's a reward other than bark.

This is a main problem for the entire site, you write these pages for people that already know what they need to find. Not for new players. Like this forestry page, you dont really write what it is and what happens or at least what to do. You tell people that there will be events but where and how you dont. I had to learn from a friend that you wont get events from being alone while cutting trees. It is really small stuff for you guys im sure "Who doesnt know that?" but NEW players dont.

Can forestry events spawn in the wilderness?

In the Mechanics and Eligibility section, the cooldown time "There is a 50-150 second buffer between events if players choose to chop the same tree for longer durations." has been updated to 40-120 seconds.

Under Forestry Kit, there is some incorrect information. "Forester's ration - Enables the passive effect of felling axes; players can receive extra logs and/or extra experience without receiving a log.". They do not give extra logs, it isn't possible - they only give less but more experience. Thank you!
