Text: Ultracompost does not increase the yield of trees, fruit trees, cactus, or bush patches; therefore, it is not recommended to treat those patches with ultracompost if you plan to pay a gardener to watch over them, since there is no benefit other than the extra 36 experience granted. Flower patches do not yield more items from ultracompost, using it only protects it from disease. Feedback: the separation of flowers feels a little awkward. The first sentence lists trees, fruit trees, cacti, and bushes, but then the last sentence suddenly brings up flower patches separately for the exact same reasons as the previous patches listed.

Flowers are presumably separated from the initial sentence because you cannot pay farmers to watch over them. I've added a note stating it may be worth composting them specifically because farmers will not watch over them. YoshiFan12 (talk) 16:16, 4 February 2025 (UTC)

saying its a rule of thumb to use ultracompost only on high yield herbs and celastrus is bad advice. It's cheaper overall to use this instead of paying farmers to watch high level trees/fruit trees.

The sentence below has a double 'does not yield' "However, ultracompost does not increase the yield of trees, fruit trees, cactus, or bush patches and flower patches do not yield more items from ultracompost; using it only protects these crops from disease."

Should note that Ultracompost increases the yield of crystal shards from crystal trees. This is not mentioned here and, as it is written, this article implies the exact opposite: "ultracompost does not increases the yield of trees..."
